She Got Reincarnated Once Again

Inside of a special ward, only a deathly silence engulfing the entire room. Only the sound from machines hooked into a figure's body laid on the hospital bed sounded once in a while that break the silence.

A thin, sallow little figure laid on the hospital bed. Her tiny face was drain of color and deathly pale, as if blood had just drawn out from her body. Her body was like bones wrapped under the skin, giving off an idea like a branch that could be snapped with just a pinch of finger. She looked so frail that it would instinctively awake anyone's instinct to protect her.

The silence in the corridor suddenly interrupted by footsteps of some people heading to the room she was in. A middle aged man in white doctor gown opened the door before he stepped aside and politely letting two people behind him to get into the ward first.

Both of them got into the ward without hesitation. They were a couple in mid 40s. When the woman stepped into the room, she rushed to the little figure bed. Her eyes reddened as she said softly. Her voice tinged with sadness and regret."Little Lsan, how are you today? Mom and dad came to you. I'm sorry that I can't visit you every day. I'm sorry darling." The woman's eyes redden when she saw her daughter condition that seemed to part ways at anytime.

The man who came with her walked over and held his wife shoulder, patting it to ease her mood. "Believe in our daughter. She's a strong girl. I believe she'll awake."He said it to his wife; it was just unknown whether he said it to console his wife or to console himself. Although he kept his stern looking face, his voice slightly trembled in each word he spoke.

Their daughter had been in vegetative state for almost three years. The accident three years ago made their bubbly, stubborn yet cute girl laid weakly on this hospital bed, as if her vital would drain at anytime. It pained them to see their princess in this condition. They exhausted everything in their possessions although they were already rich to begin with. They had travelled to many countries, seeking for any doctors for their daughter. They spent so much time looking for her cure but all were useless. They couldn't do anything although they had worked themselves to the bones. The only thing they hope was a sliver of hope – a miracle where she would wake up on her own despite the fact that she might never wake up forever.

The woman looked at the middle aged doctor. "President Qing, I'll leave my daughter in your care."

The middle aged doctor, President Qing nodded and spoke to assure the couple. "Yes madam. I'll do my best to execute your order." President Qing was the head of City A Hospital, one of the biggest and well-known hospital in the country. The couple he was talking to was the Lius, one of the most prestige families, a behemoth in the country.

The woman said. The tears threatened to fall anytime soon. She replied, "Thank you." Then, she went out of the room without looking back at her daughter because whenever she saw her daughter, it was as if her heart pierced by a dagger; it was too painful to her to stay here. Moreover, as much as she wanted to spent time with her daughter, she was very well aware that she should not neglect their other children. Even so, she would still use her spare time to find a cure for her daughter.

The man saw his wife decisively went out of the ward. He sighed heavily as he looked at his daughter. He mumbled softly, "Little Laner, please wake up. Everyone miss you." Then, he followed his wife footsteps. President Liu, on the other hand, followed the couple before he called his subordinates to keep watching Liu's little miss condition.

The ward returned to its silence. There was only deserting tranquility left in it.

She didn't know how long she was trapped in the darkness. There was nothing, no sound and no light, only a complete stillness in the darkness.

She kept moving, unknown about where she would go to. Would she go to the heaven or hell like what religions preached to their devotees? Heaven or hell? She thought that she had completely died this time so, unconsciously she could only think about these two places.

She kept walking, unaware of distance and time she spent. Sometimes, fatigue crept up and made her feel weary. She even thought that she had no more energy to continue her journey. But, she continued on persisting. She didn't want to be trapped in this darkness forever. She gritted her teeth and went forward until she found a glimmer of light that gradually became bigger the closer she walked towards it. She stepped into the light, not knowing whether she would ended up in heaven or hell.

The light was too strong for that she squinted her eyes so the glaring light would not blind her. She was about to kept walking when she found herself powerless - she had no more energy to resume her journey. She resignedly closed her eyes. She was already dead so what was the point of walking? It didn't matter whether she trapped in the darkness or trapped in blinding light. Suddenly she froze as she heard something unexpected.

"Chirp…" A sound of bird registered in her brain. Did she just hear bird's chirping? She opened her eyes and found herself in a complexly foreign room. The light that fell onto her was the morning light. She tried to move her limbs but she was powerless. She was unable to move even her hand but she was very well aware that something like this could not happened out of the blue. She could still move her body at some moment ago but now, why she couldn't? Then she began processing everything before she stunned in realization. Did I just get reincarnated again? Then her expression turned gloom. She didn't want to live anymore but why she got reincarnated once again?
