After getting dressed and cleaning up from their game they decided to order lunch from Kaori. Asuna watched as Kirito took his first bite of the teriyaki chicken sandwich Kaori prepared for him. He was surprised at how well it was made, but made sure to keep an unimpressed look on his face as he swallowed and wiped some sauce off of his face with a napkin.
I
"So— how is it?" Asuna asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It's nothing compared to your cooking honey." He smiled before taking a second bite. It was honest and truthful, but she knew he was still enjoying the meal.
When they finished they snuggled on the couch and put on some random tv show about a girl who was accidentally inseminated with her bosses sperm.
Asuna was curled into his side, a hand on his chest. Her voice a little dreamy. "Do you think this is what married life will be like?"
Kirito's eyes stayed glued to the tv. "I hope not. It would be weird if you were accidentally pregnant with someone else's baby."
She poked his rib. "No dummy! I meant waking up, showering together, breakfast, snuggling on the couch."
He pursed his lips and looked up at the ceiling and thought for a moment before responding. "Sometimes. Minus being on a plane and a hologram AI making our lunch for us— actually I might still try to make that part happen." She huffed. "Only if you wanted that though. I know you like cooking, I just thought that if you didn't have to cook and we didn't have to clean up after meals we would have more time for other activities. Anyway. It will be kind of like this, but we will have work and then when we have— babies." He blushed.
"Two right?" She asked. Her eyes had closed and a happy smile found its way to her lips.
The blush disappeared at her words. "One at a time." He rubbed her shoulder. "That will change what our days look like."
She lifted herself to see his face. "But one thing will never change right?"
He smiled as he reached for her cheek. "How much we love each other."
"No. That will change." She said very seriously.
"Huh?" He looked thoroughly confused.
"How much we love each other has already changed since we met. I love you more now than I did when we were in SAO so I know I'll love you more in the future." Her eyes were lit up with confidence when she spoke.
His heart swelled up at her words and was speechless. His pulled her down into a kiss as she rolled on top of him. When they parted he brushed his thumb across her cheek. "So what wont change?"
Asuna smiled. "How much I believe in you. I couldn't possibly believe in you more."
They went right back to kissing and hands started reaching for clothes. Just as she got his zipper down and reached into his pants a light in the ceiling opened and Kaori appeared. Kirito yelled as Asuna quickly pulled her hand out of his pants and they both sat up with bright red faces.
Kaori did short bow before speaking. "Hello Kirito and Asuna. We have arrived to our destination. Please take your seats and buckle your seatbelts to prepare for landing."
