Chapter 12: Epilogue of the Dungeon Arc
While I was on my way to the final floor, I browsed through the shop to get something useful for me in the long run as well as something that would make it easier for me to fight the Final Boss. because while watching the video from that poor Doctor, I found out that the underling of Rizevim who was most definitely Euclid Lucifuge after I watched him carefully, had mentioned something about awakening an ancient dragon, and as far as I remember, there was only one person in the entire series of Akame ga kill who became a Dragon.
Tatsumi, wielder of Incursio and the host of The Tyrant.
Yeah, even with my increased stats i still do not feel comfortable to face him as I am now, so I decided to do some shopping and buy the skills that I had wanted when I first entered the dungeon but was unable to buy because I did not have enough Gold.

After that I went into a new section in the shop that said 'Memory packs', In there, I saw that the system was selling the memories of many people from many different places but one thing caught my attention from everything else.

The memory of the Sword( memories of all four versions of Emiya Shirou): 10,000 Gold

I immediately bought the memory and stored the package in the inventory for a later date. I did this because of the fact that once I defeat the Tyrant, chances are that I would gain access to the reality marble: Unlimited blade works, but there was no guarantee that the reality marble will come equipped with all the Noble Phantasms of Emiya shirou, so by buying this pack, I ensured that I would get access to all the Noble Phantasm anyways, and even if my plan failed and the Marble came equipped with all the weapons, it would still be useful to me as the experience of an Eons old Heroic Spirit is nothing to scoff at. And thanks to the Magic Core I just bought, I could just keep the Reality Marble working indefinitely without worrying about prana usage.
Hehe, now all that is left is to defeat the final boss.

Once I arrived at the center of the final floor, I found exactly what I thought I would but also something unexpected.

That was all I was able to see and everything else was giving me nothing but unknown symbols.
Yeah, that definitely does not fill me with confidence. So I did not waste any time and immediately used Sonido to get behind the Tyrant who retaliated with his tail, I immediately rushed back and then used reinforcement along with my new sacred gear to attack the dragon.
I managed to land a few strikes on it but it seems that the Cursed poison was not working on the dragon, meaning that he had already developed immunity for the poison even before he became undead.
I immediately summoned the sacred armor and was surprised to see just what kind of armor it was.
I do not know if this was some kind of a joke, but the armor I got was none other than that of the Dark Knight Zex, a Makai knight who turned his back on the order and was once a friend of Herman Louis.
Once I activated the armor, I could immediately feel that my armor had a suppression effect on the Undead Tyrant, So I capitalized on it and started a rapid attack while using Sonido and reinforcement at the same time.
It took me a few hours to get the dragon's HP to almost half of it's original.
However, during that time, The dragon adapted to my speed and started to retaliate. I was now very grateful for the fact that I had used Indistructability on my Sacred Gear because the dragon had hit with such a strength that if not for the enchantment, my armor would have surely been broken.
Just as I was about to continue my attack, i got a message from the system which made me restricted and cause me to be planted into the wall thanks to a tail strike from the dragon.

What the hell is this??
I did not give it much thought and clicked on yes and watched as the dragon roared as it was consumed in bright white light. It was only after an entire hour that the light stopped and I could see the dragon clearly.
Its red eyes were no longer unfocused and the madness was no longer there, instead, I could see a strange emotion in its eyes.
"Are you the one who brought me out of my madness?" he asked as I took a defensive stance.
"So what if I am?"
"Do not worry, I do not want to cause you harm, It was only because that dark power had taken control of my mind that I had attacked you, but now that you have restored my memory and sanity, I no longer wish to fight you, but let me ask you something, did you kill the undead that was located in the previous floors?" the dragon asked in anticipation as I gave a cautious nod.
"Yes, I had to kill them to get access to higher floors," I said, immediately going on the defensive as I knew very well how much The Nightraid meant to Tatsumi, but strangely, he did not attack, only his eyes looked sad and resigned.
"I see, I guess it is better than letting them played to the tunes of that stupid Shingu," he said as he looked distant, I stepped forwards and asked.
"Why were you even brought back to life and just why did the Empire collapse?" The Dragon looked towards me and started to speak.
"Well, I was a part of--" " I already know who you are and what you were a part of, I want to know what happened to the Empire after the prime minister was killed and the revolutionary army won" I interrupted the dragon as he looked surprised before he started to speak.
"Well, after we defeated the emperor, I took the remaining members of The Nightraid and had them bring back the corpses of our friends, I had them buried near the house I had built and lived with Mine. Soon The Empire began to prosper again and this time, there was no corruption, the new Emperor was even able to revive the technology involved in the creation of the Teigu and built a research facility near my house, hoping that my presence would stop anyone from exploiting the research, all was well for the first few years, but soon, I started to see that something was strange with the facility, the power source was the core of a Super-class danger beast that was leftover from the hero of the first emperor but it was never truly refined into a Teigu, so the new emperor modified it and turned it into a Shingu, but something must have gone wrong because only a few days after the core was installed as a new power source, strange occurrences started to happen, and then one day, the core started to shine in a bright light before we heard the roar of a Danger Beast unlike any other, This danger beast was gigantic, it had massive Ape like body, seven heads, seven tails and ten horns, it's entire body had traits from many animals like Lion, Leapord,Bear and a Dragon. In the following days after it's appearance, the empire was completely wiped out and what was left of the empire came to this place and enacted a security system using a Dimension warping technique belonging to the First Emperor, but we underestimated the beast as it was able to kill us all without even entering the facility, thus, we were killed, but a few years ago, A strange man with a strange presence arrived in the ruins and accidentally reanimated me by activating one of the failsafe of the ruins, but I was only conscious for long enough to sense all of my friends and my love being reanimated just like me before I lost my sanity due to unknown reasons and ended up like this, the rest, you already know" The dragon finished talking as I tried my hardest to stand still without showing even a small bit of the immense panic I was feeling right now.
'That description is way too specific and for god's sake, why does it have to be him of all things!!' I screamed in my head.
The Beast described by Tatsumi was without any doubt Trihexa(666), the Beast of Apocalypse, and the 'Big Bad' of this universe.
"I have a request of you," Tatsumi said as he looked at me, breaking me out of my panic.
"What is it"
"Can you kill me?" he pleaded, much to my shock.
"I no longer have anything to live for, what I used to love is lost in the sands of time, I no longer even have a purpose in this life, but I can feel the Tyrant starting to gain power once more, if he breaks free of me, he would bring chaos to everything in existence, so I need you to end me," he said. I was unable to say anything but nod dumbly.
The Dragon reached back into a nearby cave and brought out a box covered in cloth, he handed it over to me as he said.
"This is something that a friend of mine entrusted to me before his death, I don't have a use for it so I only hope that you would use it in a way that would not stain this weapon's honor," he said as I stored it away in the inventory. Done with his final task, the dragon lowered it's next to me.
I only hesitated for a few seconds before I took out my Lightsaber and overcharged it with the Force. A technique I only created recently and had yet to try on a live target. I used the overcharged lightsaber to cut off the head of the Dragon, killing Tatsumi.

I know that I have hit the jackpot and that my life would be far easier now that I have all these skills and powers, but I simply could not bring myself to be happy after what had happened at the end.
The only thing I felt as I was forcefully removed from the dungeon as it collapsed on itself was a pity for the poor man who was struck as a Dragon for countless years.
Well, I guess i can relax for a few days now that the Dungeon is cleared.
