Chapter 5 The party

Star walked down the huge hallway cursing every breath at Zen for running out like a scared rabbit right after he walked into the room. She searched for two hours straight and still could not find the big doofus . Sighing she turned and went back to the room . Finished the paperwork and then went to her own room knowing what a big day tomorrow was going to be and what a huge headache it was going to give her.

The next day the knocking was back again . If she could stab Tusbaki through the door now would be the time for her to do it . " Captain it's time to get up " Tusbaki's words were like honey . Hearing them star could not help but smile and calmly reply " good morning " . Today was a big deal for all the captains so getting dress appropriately was a sure thing . Tying her hair nice and neat ,throwing on the cleanest robes she could fine and making sure her sword didn't have a speck of dust on it . She looked down at her mask and for a split second her eyes that has never shown emotions were in tidal waves. Gently picking up the mask she placed it on her face returning her eyes back to the still calm waters they usually were. Star and Tusbaki walked down the long hallway to the princes's chambers where they met up with the other captains and without delay they separated into groups. Star and Zen made the first group while Asher and Dominique made the second. Star and Zen's job was to follow around the prince and make sure no harm comes his way .

The kingdom opened their golden gates revealing hundreds of carriages and people from the richest of rich to the poorest of poor. Servants could be seen leading the carriages in and through the kingdom gates . Asher and Dominique was in the center of it all checking the carriages and the people inside them while Star and Zen were standing outside the princes bedroom chamber guarding the doors. ' can this snob pick something to wear already!!!!!!' Star felt like sending her head through the wall . Looking over at her while she fidgets around Zen let out a light chuckle to himself. Sticking his hand up to his face he cleared out his throat " Captain Yu why don't you go check on the party Preparations ". Star gazed at the man beside of her like he was some sort of god . Letting out a soft smile she bowed down " thank you Captain Zen I will get to it right away!!" She shot up and booked it to the kitchen where they were preparing the food for the party. The aroma of sweets hit her nose causing her stomach to growl continuously. Looking at the spread they were cakes and cookies and sweets all around . Keeping calm she walked around checking them all out as a servant walked up to her with a plate of small bit size cakes . " Captain Yu would you like to try one ?" Star gave a small hum in reply and gracefully grabbed the cake and savored it one bit at a time. The sweet icing and the light fluffy cake melted in her mouth . Star tried to act unmoved but on the inside she was in pure bliss. Calmly in a monotone voice she gave a short reply" very good" she would have gotten away with it but she let out a smile that she finally could not control making all the servants gasp as their quiet and faraway captain actually showed emotions . The servant girl finally caught her redden face and offered up another cake . Without a second thought Star took the cake and went to savor it someplace else knowing that she might make all the servants faint with her smiles of pure joy. Being the distant captain she was Star would rather not talk so she avoided all the greetings and all met up with Zen when she knew they were over. Once again she followed them around the rest of the day . Just as star was going to her room Tusbaki ran to her . His face was blushed from running and he gasped while trying to catch his breath . Star waited patiently for him to catch his breath " what's the matter " in a hurried voice Tusbaki slurred his words together but finally got a sentence out " b b bandits are goingto attack the prince tonight !!!" Stars Rosie red lips formed a crooked smile while a murders aura surrounded her body making even Tusbaki shudder in fear.
