First Ring, Spirit Hall, and Training.

*1st Person POV*

Once i stepped into the portal i felt nothing, litterally nothing. There was no stomach ache, no disorientation, no anything. Once i exited the portal i appeared inside of some sort of forest, it had many trees of different hights and species. However i paid little attention to the trees and instead i focused on getting my first spirit ring. After all that is the reason i came here right?

It didn't take long for me to find a spirit beast, in fact it took less than a minute before i found one. It appeared to be some sort of bird, the only difference however was it's size. It's body was about the size of an adults head. It had blue feathers and a grey beak, as i was examining it some information popped into my head.

[ Spirit Ring: Misty Blade: Your dagger will produce mist. ]

Ok i don't see a reason to kill it right now so i guess i will avoid it for now. With that thought i wondered through the forest searching for a good spirit ring. After about 3 hours of searching, and examining over 100 spirit beasts i finally found the perfect spirit beast.

[ Spirit Ring: Concealment: You make it hard for those of equal spirit rank or lower to detect you. ]

(A/N Since detect is a vague term let me clarify. Using this ability does not make you invisable, nor does it make your steps silent, instead it makes it hard to hear you, see you, and it makes your spirit energy harder to sense. Basicly Its a nerfed version of invisiblity, silent steps and perfectly hiding spirit energy.)

As i read about this ability a smile appeared on my face, and in less than a second my dagger went through the rabbits skull. Once i was sure the rabbit was dead i unsummoned my dagge and sat down in a cross legged position. After waiting a few seconds a white ring flew out of the rabbits body and went straight into me. After a few seconds i learned all i needed to know about the the ability, so i went to test it out. I walked up to a 20 year old spirit beast with the ability active and it didn't seem to notice me until i was right infront of it, and by that time it was already dead. After waiting a few seconds a ring flew out of its body and into mine, and all of a sudden it felt like my concealment ability was inhanced.

Once i got over my initial excitement i started to plan my next move. However while i was thinking about my next moves i remembered something disturbing, and that was of course spirit hall. This made me panic slightly, there was no way they would just let me go after learning i had full innate spirit power. After realising the situation i was in i eventually decided to stay in this dimension a little longer than i had initially wanted to. Once i made my decision i decided it was time to hunt.

After killing about 20 or so low ranked spirit beasts i started getting hungry. This was a major problem because im not sure if spirit beasts are edible. After thinking for a moment i decided that they were edible and made a camp fire to start cooking a rabbit spirit beast that i had recently hunted. After about 1 minute i heard some noises and after realising that i was cooking a rabbit in the middle of a forest, that just so happened to have alot of spirit beasts lurking inside of it. I decided it was best to put out the fire ditch the rabbit and run.

Luckily i escaped successfully and was currently hiding inside a small cave. while i was sitting down in the cave i was contemplating weather it was safe to eat the beast raw or not. The reason i was considering eating it raw was because i have never seen a sick spirit master. So i started to wonder if it was possible to get a disease. Can spirit beasts even get diseases, because i don't recall reading about sick spirit beasts back on earth. Now that im thinking about it i havent been sick at all since the moment i was reborn.

After deciding it was safe to eat a spirit rabbit raw i went out to hunt one. After i cought the rabbit i returned home, once i was home i skinned it and ate it raw, luckily i did not get sick or at the very least feel sick so with that in mind i went as far into the cave as i could and ment to sleep.

Once i woke up i decided i would make this cave my home, and with that in mind i left my 'home' and started hunting again, however once my spirit ring got to 1000 years old i felt a slight change in the way my skill worked. If i were to put it into words it would be similar to baking through a bottleneck in cultivation. However that did not stop me from hunting, in fact it felt more like motivation than anything else, and because of this motivation i started hunting 100 year old spirit beasts. This was a lot harder than hunting younger spirit beasts because 1 stab is no longer enought to kill some of them. However this is all necesary in order to further develop my dagger arts.

After i finished my hunting session i returned home rabit in hand and started eating my rather bland dinner, mabey i should pick some berries to add to my meal. Well guess its time to sleep, good night mom i miss you. Hopefully when i get back i can still communicate with you. it hasent even been a week and here i am already feeling lonely.
