Chapter 12

"Let go." Tang Kexin stopped in her tracks and turned to glare at him, her eyes throwing daggers. Her previously calm eyes were now filled with coldness that would cause people to tremble. The simplest words were filled with a striking aura that could not be ignored.

Meeting her eyes, Mu Shaoyi was caught off-guard, suddenly felt frightened. This woman was believed to be cured by the Monk Master of her stupidity recently, and it was only three days ago. How could she learn such ability at the shortest period of time?!

"Hand over the antidote and I will let you go." Mu Shaoyi secretly inhaled a breath of air as he tried to calm himself. However, he couldn't just shake off the disturbance and panic in his heart.

"What is it? What did I just say was not clear enough?" Tang Kexin's gaze shifted to Dong'er. This deliberate action had completely disregarded Mu Shaoyi.

"Young Mistress has already expressed herself very clearly." Dong'er was a smart girl, and she was diligently cooperating with her.

"Tang Kexin, you better not provoke me!" Mu Shaoyi hissed. He was thoroughly infuriated that he subconsciously exerted more strength in grasping Tang Kexin's wrist. It was supposed to be a warning, a threat, but a tinge of guilt had blossomed unknowingly into his heart.

Tang Kexin didn't struggle at all nor made any slightest movement. She only glanced at him indifferently. Her gaze was so casual that it was almost apathetic.

Seeing her reaction, Mu Shaoyi's rage suddenly rose uncontrollably. The hand holding Tang Kexin's wrist grew even stronger. Mu Shaoyi, who was a martial artist to begin with, was currently filled with rage. His strength was exceptionally astonishing, and in a blink of an eye, Tang Kexin's hand had turned purple. One could even heard a cracking sound of bones. Everyone knew that it must be a heart-wrenching pain. Even Dong'er, who was standing at the side, couldn't help but trembled at the sight.

However, Tang Kexin's expression didn't change in the slightest. It was as if Mu Shaoyi wasn't fumingly grabbing onto her wrist.

Mu Shaoyi was again shocked, like he had never been shocked before. He clearly knew the amount of power he used. He just wanted to evoke an emotion into Tang Kexin's face that he inadvertently generated an insurmountable power. The strength and force he induced was too much that even an iron blooded man could not possibly withstand it, what more of a mere woman, and a petite at that such as Tang Kexin. And under such extreme pain, she didn't beg for mercy, nor did she cry out in pain.

"Young Noble Mu, you should hurry and bring Miss Liu to the physician now. If you continue delaying, I'm afraid it will be too late." Dong'er's heart ached as she hoped to divert Mu Shaoyi's attention. She could only talk out to Mu Shaoyi as she didn't dare to act rashly, afraid of angering him and hurting the little miss further.

Even though the little miss looked fine, she knew that it was definitely very painful. Mu Shaoyi was a seasoned martial artist. How could an ordinary young woman withstand such power? Moreover, she was very clear that if Mu Shaoyi had used even a little more strength, her Young Mistress' bones would have already been crushed by him.

Mu Shaoyi's body stiffened as he stared at Tang Kexin. Although he didn't let go, his strength was greatly reduced.

"Big brother Yu, my uncle is a doctor. He has some understanding of poisons, so maybe he can cure this poison." Liu Ruyue's expression changed several of times as she looked at Mu Shaoyi and Tang Kexin. She suddenly felt fear in her heart. She was afraid that Mu Shaoyi's opinion of Tang Kexin would start to change from the worst to admiration.

Mu Shaoyi's eyes flashed. He ruthlessly threw away Tang Kexin's hand, turned around, picked up Liu Ruyue and quickly left.

"Young Mistress, are you alright?" Dong'er let out a sigh of relief when she saw Mu Shaoyi leave. However, when she saw the bruising on Tang Kexin's wrist, her heart ached and she blamed herself.

"I'm fine." Tang Kexin casually waved her hand and turned to face the carriage. However, when she climbed onto the carriage and opened the curtain, she discovered that there was another person already sitting inside the carriage. A man known to make anyone trembled with fear, with a glare that could scatter one's soul.
