Chapter 25

"Master, the carriage is ready." At that moment, the Prime Minister's guards walked over.

"Oh-oh, Yes!" The Prime Minister responded but he was not in a hurry to take a step forward. His eyes still with the Fourth Prince, who was still in a stunned state and had not regain his wits yet. 'Who did his daughter took a fancy to this time?' How could he have shocked the Fourth Prince to such an extent?

"Fourth Prince." The prime minister sounded out.

"…" Ye Lanchen unable to say something, but his eyes had already shifted away from Ye Lanjue. They once again landed on Tang Kexin and stared at her.

His expression was even more complicated, as if he was somewhat conflicted. Or confused? Other than Tang Kexin and himself, no one else knew.

"Fourth Prince!" The Prime Minister had no choice but to raise his voice. His curiosity was killing him.

"Ah?" He turned his head slowly and looked at the Prime Minister. He was stunned for a moment before finally regaining his senses, "Oh. The Prime Minister will enter the palace first to see Father. While this Prince will bring Xin'er to see Mother." Fortunately, he hadn't lost his mind, and he still remembered what he had to do.

"Alright." The Prime Minister let out a sigh. To be honest, the Fourth Prince's actions were rather unreliable. So wether the name his daughter had whispered to the Fourth Prince was someone monstrous or fearsome, who knew. However, the matter with the Emperor was urgent, so he couldn't dilly-dally just to wait for the Fourth Prince to name whoever that man was. So the Prime Minister hurriedly board the carriage and left.

"But Xin'er, I suddenly remembered that I came together with Third Imperial Brother's carriage." Ye Lanchen shyly looked at Tang Kexin, vexed. So what he meant was, he didn't have a carriage.

"Then I let the Prime Minister's Estate to prepare for the carriage." Tang Kexin sighed in her heart. This Prince couldn't be counted on, really. Thankfully, it was just a matter of a carriage, so it wasn't that difficult.

However, Ye Lanchen's eyes flashed. He suddenly said with an unrelenting tone, "But Xin'er, we could just use Third Brother's carriage, could we not? Are you detesting Third Royal Brother?"

If it was possible, Tang Kexin really wanted to smack this Fourth Prince away. 'Damn, did he really wanted the world to be in chaos? To imply that she despised the Third Prince? What did that offhand comment have to do with anything anyway?'

But to be honest, she really did want to avoid the the Third Prince. She wanted to get far away from him as possible. Of course, she felt that what she said just now was very reasonable. However, it was completely destroyed by Ye Lanchen's words.

"The Third Prince has so much to do every day, how could we dare trouble him?" Tang Kexin gritted her teeth and resisted the urge to smack Ye Lanchen away. She did her best to make her tone as calm and natural as possible without any change in her expression. Fortunately, she was calm enough to live.

"Third Imperial Brother, are you busy?" However, it was clear that Ye Lanchen didn't understand her words at all. He turned to Ye Lanjue and asked in a straightforward manner.

At this moment, Tang Kexin suddenly felt like she was speechless towards the heavens. 'Oh my God! What is this imbecile doing?'

Ye Lanjue didn't reply. He swept a glance at Tang Kexin, and then proceeded to walk towards his carriage.

Although it was just a single glance, Tang Kexin felt as if she had been frozen solid. That gaze was too cold, too terrifying.

"Get in." Ye Lanjue had already boarded the carriage, and with a turn of his eyes, he looked in their direction. His low voice seemed rather heavy.

"Alright." Ye Lanchen readily agreed. He didn't even give Tang Kexin any chance to react as he swiftly climbed onto the carriage.

Tang Kexin's mind was in a mess. Was she going up? Or not?
