Caspian's angry voice boomed through the silent living room and for once, Roselyn saw the four shadow bearers lost for words as they just stood or sat there in silence while exchanging glances but not daring to say anything.

"I'm asking something. Who gave you the right to make her wear such a lethal charm that cut her off completely from the sources of her powers?
