Everyone was in deep silence as they all were lost in their own thoughts. The biggest question at the moment was just how they were going to handle the situation now.

"What are we going to do now?" River asked as his attention shifted between his father and Roselyn, the two people present there who had the authority to decide what was going to happen from now on.

Before the King could have spoken, Roselyn decided to ask something that had been bugging her for a while. "What were you going to do if not for the revelation?"

King Vespertine looked at Roselyn with his usual unreasonable expression decorating his face. He was silent for a while before he finally answered while letting out a small sigh. "I would definitely have severed your bonds with all these three boys before sending you back to your realm."
