Lots of Time Skips
As time passed, 80 days of summer holidays flew right past Peter and Dreamer. The long time Peter and Dreamer had created a kind of rapport between them. They now had a much deeper understanding of each other and got used to each. The most obvious sign of this was Peter no longer had a dazed look whenever he spoke with Dreamer.
Shang-Chi had also apparently finished his work in New York as he said he was leaving for some journey. The summer training with the help of Shang-Chi certainly helped a lot for Peter and having a sparring partner like Shang-chi improved his technique and battle awareness leaps and bounds.
Even Dreamer benefited a lot from Shang-chi as he was a scientist in his previous life he never properly focused on martial arts, so instead of learning human martial arts based on his knowledge from the venom movie, Dreamer asked Shang-Chi to teach him all the types of weapon fighting as symbiote fighting was based on weapons, and by the looks of it teaching Peter and me was incredibly satisfying for Shan-chi as well.
I mean who wouldn't love to have two genius students who learnt all the teacher can teach in just 60 days and the next 20 days started to practice the knowledge to basic combat proficiency. Dreamer had also quickly become a weapon master being able to use all weapons.
Chi training was honestly the most helpful in the whole training cause fighting knowledge could be polished anywhere by constant fighting but learning to use and train Chi wasn't learnt anywhere.
Even though Dreamer learnt about Chi and started circulating it in his body thus making him stronger, Peter didn't learn about Chi and with the help of Shang Chi explaining about Chi and its properties and showing how to use it, was immensely helpful for Dreamer and Peter. It also helped Dreamers survivability by helping suppress and mask his Chi under Peter's Chi.
Peter learning about Chi made him a lot more efficient because when you learn to sense Chi and feel it moving alongside your body you can also see where the wastage is happening in your movements. It also helped one to fine-tune their movement for maximum efficiency and impact. No wonder all the practitioners or chi even the lowest level ones were way above normal people.
Other than that Peter, Harry and Flash kinda became close friends during the summer. Especially Flash as Flash parents finally decided to get the divorce, when Flash told this to Harry and Peter, dreamer immediately spoke to Peter.
Peter confusedly replied
That night during dinner
"Aunt May, Uncle Ben I have something to ask"
"You see, Flash's parents are currently going through a divorce, I read somewhere that it is not good for kids during divorce and they very heavily affected, so I thought maybe you could talk with his parents and let Flash stay with us while they sort their problems"
"Oh my, that is awful, that is good thinking Peter, What do you think we should do Ben?"
"I think that it is a wonderful idea. Get me Flash's Parents number's I and May will talk to them."
Thus Flash ended up staying the whole summer at Peter's House by the end his parents had sorted their stuff out, he ended having bonded to Uncle Ben since he liked Ben's war stories. There was also a surprise in that all three Peter, Flash and Harry got along with the 'cool kids' in the neighbourhood and learnt Skateboarding and parkour.
This was a surprise for dreamer because he was going to ask Peter to learn parkour next, but he took it up naturally and it was better. Because Dreamer knew whenever you learn something completely by yourself without anybody's help and master it, the challenge was 100X times more satisfying than solving a challenge given by someone else.
Thus ending summer, but then something happened right at the last week of summer, and that was that a girl moved next door. You guessed it, her name was Mary Jane Watson. This MJ was a little different than how he imagined, she was a little bit on the chubbier side with having a little babyish face(I read it somewhere that MJ was a little chubby in middle school and turned into a beauty during the summer of high school).
This confused Dreamer a lot because from the history and news he saw after coming to this it was MCU and in homecoming, there was no Mary Jane so the higher probability is that he is in a somewhat mixed but similar timeline.
That meant that although he had future knowledge it wasn't surefire knowledge, so he probably shouldn't judge someone based on a movie or comic knowledge. That was okay with him. He probably wouldn't have judged someone like that anyway but it was a wakeup call for him. But still, some things never change, like the way Pete had an instant crush on MJ.
But even though some things never change, other things change. Maybe because of the way Peter got into shape, was less awkward in communicating with people due to dreamer, or maybe just maybe it was probably because she saw Peter getting changed through the window the morning she moved in. Mary Jane had developed a crush on Peter too and started calling him Tiger.
Even though Dreamer noticed this he didn't tell Peter because he felt like he was butting into their relationship, anyway in most universes they were together. So if he still hadn't asked her out for a date till 18 he would probably tell him to ask her out.
As the school started again, Peter fell into a routine of going to school but something interesting happened, Peter felt frustrated. Why did Peter feel frustrated you ask, because with all organization, learning tricks and mind arts Peter learnt he quickly breezed through the years science and mathematics syllabus in a month.
It was true, with Dreamers help and with Peter tutoring and selling his notes to a lot of kids he was now kind of popular in his school and his extremely fit athletic body certainly helped him.
Thus, Peter started studying forward in the science class even though he didn't tell Aunt May or Uncle Ben and didn't let the teacher find out with his Chi enhanced senses and me helping him from getting found out.
One day Peter was walking through the corridor when he heard
"Hey look who's here girls its little piggy Mary"
"Hahaha"x5
"Please don't call me that," said MJ
"What are you going to do piggy, Mary? Oink like a pig and go complain to your Father?"
"I heard from my dad that her father recently got a pay cut in the police station"
"I saw her father coming buying alcohol from the department store yesterday after dropping her."
"Like who buys alcohol in the morning he should be a loser like her. Like father, like daughter I guess."
"Yeah, A piggy like you doesn't deserve Harry, Flash and Peter"
It was just around this time that Peter thought enough was enough and turned around the corner to stop them but before he could stop them MJ saw him coming and got embarrassed that he heard it and pushed the girls away and ran away crying.
At this time Dreamer tried really hard not to meddle in Peter's love life but he just couldn't control it anymore.
"Hey MJ, wait for me" shouted Peter while running towards her.
Obviously, an untrained 13 year could not run away from the trained 13-year-old and Peter caught her. hiding and crying in one of the empty classrooms.
"What? are you going to laugh at the little piggy MJ too?" said MJ from in between her sobs.
"What? No!! I would never do that. MJ you don't need to take their words seriously. You are perfectly fine the way you are and are already very beautiful."
That looked like it helped a lot because she stopped crying and started blushing.
"Hey, MJ obviously they hurt your feelings, Why don't you come train with me every morning and I will help, you can one-up them."
"Really you think I can lose weight? I tried everything before salads, even fasting but I couldn't lose it."
"Don't worry, with me training you, you will get into Perfect shape guarantee or you get your money back."
She then giggles and says with a Shy look "Thanks, Peter."
