The Path that Leads to Hell

TRIGGER WARNING! You've been warned, which means: Read at your own discretion and no mean comments.

The ninja dressed in all black entered my tent and before I could scream knocked me unconscious.

When I woke up I was on the back of a horse being held by that same ninja that attacked me, his face still covered all I could see were his green eyes and messy blonde hair. "Where are you taking me?" I asked calmly.

"Kenshin Uesugi has requested The devil's song bird." The ninja's voice was full of smug confidence. Nobunaga's enemy has decided to take steal me. I wondered what kind of treatment I would receive at the hand of the Dragon of Echigo. The rumors from injured men was that his bloodlust was rivaled only by Nabunaga and some even wondered if the dragon enjoyed the fight more than the Devil king.

The unknown ninja and I rode in silence as the night continued to grow colder and the stars got brighter. My mind wondered how long I would endure the Dragon of Echigo until Nobunaga even know I had been take and then how long until his council would come to a decision as to wether or not there would be a rescue mission. I'm not Nobunaga's wife yet, there has been no ceremony, no consummation. My capture or death may insight conflict with my clan, but that conflict could be easily rectified with another engagement.

My stomach began to twist in knots as I began to believe that the only way I would be saved from Kenshin is if Nobunaga wanted me badly enough.

As we rode towards the Dragon's liar the moonlight crawled across my porcelain skin. I suddenly felt a hand crawling up my thigh as the horse began to slow and a wave of nausea rose within as the ninja brushed my hair to the side and took a deep breath against the now exposed skin on the back of my neck.

"I was told to bring you back to my lord so he could hear how you sing for his enemy. I'm curious too about the kind of noises that come from such a beautiful woman." His voice was thick with lust. My body tensed as I felt something against my back becoming stiff and his hand continued up my leg.

"Tell me, has the devil already claimed your body?" He began licking and biting the side of my neck and slid the hand that had been wrapped around my waist for stability up to my breast and began squeezing it.

"Yes." My voice shook in fear and anger as he continued to run his hands on me.

He let out a small chuckle that sounded angrier than amused. "Based off of the words and actions I observed this evening, I know that is a lie." He bit my neck as he pulled my upper body back and pushed a finger inside of me. Tears began falling from me as I tried to restrain my screams as he quickly decided that one finger was not enough.

"Your imprisoned screams are delicious princess. I see why the men of the Oda forces speak so highly of your songs. And the way your hips move against me as we ride— no wonder the Devil's army is so strong." I looked back at him, to find hungry, animalistic, green eyes.

With the horse still riding towards the man responsible for my capture his subjugate suddenly forced my upper body forward almost laying on the horses neck.

"My lord will want to claim The Devil brides virginity for himself." He moved all the fabric out of the way, exposing everything below to his eyes and the cold night air. My face flushed, my hands and feel felt numb as I felt one of the fingers that had been inside of me push into a different hole. I choked back the screams as he continued to stretch me. The numbness in my hands and feet spread through out my body.

He suddenly stopped and I heard his clothes moving before he pushed himself inside the place his fingers had prepared. I could no longer hold back the screams as my entire body seemed to clench until his movements caused my lower half to forcibly relax.

"Scream as much as you want little bird. Get them all out now. Once the Dragon hears you scream he will not allow you to stop."

He continued his act until he released. My mind went blank as we continued to ride through the night. His grip on me was tight to make sure I didn't try to kill myself by throwing myself off the horse as I vomited off the side of the horse.

The sun was rising as the gates of the Dragon's liar came into view. It felt cold with its high grey stone walls and dark overhanging roofs. Inside the courtyard was covered in dark maroon Japanese maple trees. The moonlight reflected off the koi ponds as I looked into the water seeing my reflection one last time before I would be subjected to unfathomable cruelty.

I was brought to the audience chamber to face Kenshin Uesugi, the Dragon of Echigo. He sat at the head of the room looking unimpressed and bored until he looked up from his scrolls to see me being lead in by his ninja.

"Well done. You'll be rewarded." He scanned my body with his eyes piercing blue eyes. He wore the colors of his clan proudly with his blue and white kimono that had several dragons painted in silver across his shoulder.

"Have you heard her sing?" He asked the man restraining my arms behind my back.

"I've heard enough to know why the enemy keeps her around my lord. May I be dismissed?" The ninja sounded like he was in a hurry to leave and his response made me huff in contempt.

"Oh, it seems she dislikes you. Yes, you may go." Kenshin rose from his spot and approached me looking darkly amused. "So this is The Oda song bird my spies tell me so much about. I'd like for you to perform for me now."

I looked to him, exhausted and sore from the transport. "I am too tired to perform perhaps —" my words were stolen from me when the back of the Dragon's hand crashed against my cheek. I could taste blood in my mouth from the impact and feel the blood rushing to swell. When I regained my breath I looked up to him fearfully. "Yes my lord."

He ordered a servant to bring him his Biwa and began to strum a familiar song for me to sing to.

My body ached and burned as I moved along with the tune. The dragon eased me into the song before speeding the tempo up. I struggled to keep up with the song and fell behind, resulting in the song to end abruptly.

The cold darkness of his castle had a source, him. I felt no warmth at all from him. "You will perform until you finish the song." He informed me of his decision. "I will hear what Nabunaga and his men hear before you rest."

I bowed to signal him to continue. I tripped over the dance, but it wasn't the dance he wanted me to finish, he wanted the song, and so I improvised and found a position to conserve energy in as I finished the song.

His voice cut through the air like a katana in battle. "It seems that the rumors are true about the Devil's preferences for sweets." He huffed. He approached me, taking my chin roughly in his hand to bring my face close to his. "Unfortunately for you, I prefer bitter."
