Chapter 12 : Nobody Said

I was lucky. Out of nowhere, I was considered.

Right now, I am wearing my finest & electrified elegant purple dress.We had a welcome party for passing the final assessment.

I fixed my hair by doing braid bun.

"Ah, my necklace with a star pendantwas missing ."

I opened my cabinet to look for it, but what I saw was the card Knight gave me before my birthday. I opened it & remember him. I t totally change my happy mood.

"I miss Knight."

I went to the grand-ball.

Inside it was holographic fireworks that seems so real.

I was amazed because we all blend with different neon colors .

From far away, Gian was looking over me. His appearance looks so fiery because he wears red coat with brave burning fur coat on his shoulder.

"Lyrids, you look so fabulous." I heard a voice at my back & was surprised to Mr. Sealtiel.

"Thank you. You too." I replied to him.

"Congratulation." He said to me while shaking my hand.

Gian finally saw me from a distance but he just stare to us while talking.

All of the newly hired time travelers were invited here and the bosses.

"We also invited other time travelers from different time."Mr. Shaw suddenly announces.

After few minutes, different and much advance hovercraft just appeared on the floating parking areas.

"They are here!"The man on my left side said while pointing the parking areas.

We are all amazed by their appearances as they entered the entrance of the wide hall.

Their clothes seems magnificient and fashionable.

We counted in reverse to start the party.

We altogether shouted then...

...then a big dragon's image in 3d appears at the top of the ceiling that releases an electric wherein a futuristic loud beat was heard where we all dance wildly.

In the party, I met Martha and James. They were also a safety assurance time traveler like me that passed the qualification test.

I was surprise to see Gian right there. So I approached him.

"Gian,remember me?"I asked him while sitting on his front.

"I do not know you."He replied to me with a snobbing face.

"Your such a liar.I'd never thought that you also applied here and be hired too. Let me congrats you too."I said to him that makes him stare a little.

I drink more alcohol then go away.

"Ah,why is he like that?" I said to myself.

I tried to walk on his back and say more things in a friendly way.

"Did I offend you? Honestly,I just wanna ask what Department are you ?We could be friends?"I said while chasing him.

"You have to figure it out."He replied in a bossy tone then enters the comfort room.

I moved away then starts to drink alone.

"This taste no good." I said after tasting the lemon parka wine.

"Why out of a sudden Gian's became so evil infront of me?Did I look bad today?Am I looking ugly?"I asked myself while thinking deeply.

The party ends then all of our Superiors including Mr. Sealtiel flew at the top of us and gives remarks.

I was then shocked to see Gian speaks to all as an Assistant Manager and soon to be my Superior or Boss .

He shows a strong figure and looking so unbeatable in his posture.

He was different from the days I met and saw him. He was like a man with no mercy while giving short remarks.

I touches my head for the shame of asking him his department and congratulating him for passing the qualification test.

Nobody told me that he was our future boss,so I failed to show respect to him while talking during the party.

"I am in trouble."I silently said when his eyes moves to my direction.

I went home and brought some lemon parka wine. I consumed 5 bottles and sobbed too much.

I sit down on my bed and cried so loud while thinking about night.

I was happy to be hired again but without night congratulating me, is it feels like empty inside my heart.

"Knight! Don't go away!"

"Pleasr forgive me!" I cried while on my bed.

My brain just shutdown and I wake up with the bottles of wine all around my condominium.

"I should hire a robot like teddy soon." I said as I know that I need a talkmates or somene to do house cleaning.
