Hero of the day.

Mohsen's face was completely dark, his eyes were lit with fire, his nose was practically fuming.

"I SAID, LET GO YOU STUPID TURD!"

It didn't take a third time for Zassar to let go of Yilas, as soon as his hand loosened, she instantly ran behind Mohsen, her body shaking in fear.

"It's not what you think Mohsen." Zassar fake laughing and stood up straight, his clever mouth always got him out of trouble. However, he always had a problem dealing with Mohsen, the beast was always too uptight and straightforward, he couldn't understand normal logic at all.

Yilas shook her head vigorously, telling Mohsen not to believe the centaur, Mohsen didn't do a double-take but he had already figured out what was going on. He stood tall, covering Yilas out of sight.

"Then what is it that happened here?" Technically, in the ranks of generals, Mohsen was in a higher position than Zassar though he was much older than Mohsen. Therefore, in certain situations like this, Mohsen could use his authority against the horse-beast.

"You see, I was just walking by when I found this beautiful female, we were discussing a lunch date at my place, you know, just me and her." Zassar slyly smiled, his eyes curled up in a creepy way, scaring Yilas even more. Though looked innocent, Zassar smile obviously meant as a threat to Yilas, telling her not to speak up.

"Is that so..." Mohsen looked disgusted, he already knew how shady Zassar was, he wouldn't trust a word coming out of the horse beast's mouth in a million years.

"Yes, yes... you see, the female actually suggested it, I think she might like me you know. Maybe she was trying to seduce me to become her spouse."

"No, I didn't." Yilas immediately shouted, she held on to Mohsen arm and sincerely exchanged eyes with him, she was innocent, he must believe her.

Mohsen felt even more repulsed by the outrageous lie, in the world they live in, there was no reason for a female to be seducing a male. Only a male would be shameless enough to act foxy to get their attention. Yilas didn't have to fight so pointlessly against the blatant lie to defend herself.

"You didn't? Then why you took off your clothes when only I was around? Didn't you just want to make me your beast-man on the spot?" Zassar laughed loudly, Yilas couldn't believe how disgusting he was acting.

"I-I only took my cloak off because it was too hot, and you watched me from afar, I didn't even know you were there!" Yilas yelled but it sounded like a pipsqueak, her voice was trembling in anger. Mohsen thought it was adorable to see Yilas got all worked up like this.

"Ayyaa, you obviously looked back at me a few times how can you deny it now? I don't know why you are playing games in front of Mohsen but you have to take responsibility for me."

Zassar's expression was like Yilas had wronged him a great deal. Though Mohsen didn't feel too impressed about his acting skills.

"ALRIGHT! ENOUGH." A part of Mohsen felt angry and wanted to tear Zassar to shreds but based on what the beast said, he still hadn't figured out Yilas was the nine-tail fox Bryok and his minions were hunting for. Therefore, the sooner they got out of here the better.

"Before anyone got into trouble, I suggest we drop it here. No more pointless arguing."

"But what about my..."

Zassar displeasingly complained about his lunch date but was quickly glared down by Mohsen's hair-raising stare. He was dumb but not to the point where he didn't know when to shut his mouth.

"Good, we are leaving." With that said, Mohsen did a full 180-turn and didn't forget to grabbed Yilas's by the wrist and dragged her with him. They walked further and further away till about 30 minutes later, they had reached another mountain, this one had a shallow caved-in hole, with a bigger than 3 meters entrance. It was still bright enough to see the entire end of the cave.

Mohsen dropped Yilas down inside the cave as if she was a ragdoll. He seemed angered in the face so Yilas tried not to bother him anymore, though she still felt frustrated about the situation with Zassar.

Mohsen dropped the food in front of Yilas and commanded her to eat in one single word. He sat down and watch the opening of the cave but didn't touch the food. Yilas brought a piece of bread to his mouth and asked.

"Are you not hungry?" Looking at her big round eyes Mohsen felt even worst if it was him in the situation, he would have killed the beast for dirtying her honor.

"Are you not upset?" Mohsen took the bread and put it down.

"Of course, I am very upset."

Yilas looked calm in the face, she was even smiling to Mohsen, he really couldn't understand this female.

"Are you stupid or something? Why didn't you get away, that beast could have forced himself on you. And after that, even if you don't want him, that beast will have the right to be beside you till he dies."

Yilas eyes opened bigger than the letter O, what Mohsen said sounded outrageous, a little far fetched in her opinion but looking at how serious he was, Yilas realized she was not deceived. Speechless at the new rule, Yilas looked a bit puzzled, Mohsen was mad but not surprised.

"I bet you didn't even know about any of this." He sighed and continued "Honestly how clueless can you be..."

"I- I really didn't do anything, you have to believe me."

"How would I know? I'm not there so it will only be your words against his and looked as if you already lost."

Yilas was shocked, she couldn't think of proving her innocent. She leaned forward and held Mohsen's hand, gripping it tightly with both of her tiny hands.

"I would never do that, I am not that type of person Mohsen, I don't know what else to tell you."

It was the first time Yilas called him by his name directly and held his hand, their body was only a few inches away. Now he really wondered if Zassar was actually lying as he felt hypnotized by Yilas's big round eyes.

*Gulp*

Mohsen could hear himself choking on his own words, his heart quickened and sweat started broke in his palm. He was getting nervous just smelling the sweet scent from Yilas's body and feeling her burning hot breath on his face. In a panic, Mohsen yanked his body away from Yilas, unintentionally pulling her on top of him since she was hanging on so tightly to his hands.
