The Truth of Falling Petals

When the voice of footsteps linger in the air,  she turned her head and looked at the man who was standing in front of her. His ice-like gaze and calm expression make it difficult for Ahana to see what the man is actually up to? 


yu yan shake her thoughts and stood up and walked towards him. 


"You're here" Ahana raised her eyebrows.


Wei Shang nodded. His gaze landed on her dress which was simple and exquisite at the same time. It was perfectly matching with her temperament. 


Unlike other girls, yu yan didn't put much effort in to make up. Her skin is already pale and a light touch of makeup would make it more lovely. It gave the urge to people to touch her skin. 


Wei Shang's gaze made yu yan uncomfortable. she took a step back and coughed "Shall we go?"


Wei shang expressions frowned when he saw his little wife had taken a step back.


Is she afraid of him? Is he terrible? Thinking about the possibilities made Wei shang mood worse. 


Secretary Lu carefully examined the calm before the storm. "President.." he swallowed his saliva and was praying in his heart that he would better be able to live today. President's mood doesn't seem to be good. 


"Let's go" After this Wei shang turned back and step inside the carriage. Yu yan nodded and followed him quietly. She sat beside him and both of them didn't speak the entire way.


"Mom, Is she coming back?" Sneered Syria. 


"Yes," Su yan replied while rubbed her daughter's head as she tried to tell her that she will be going to handle everything.


"Syria remember to be patience and don't cause trouble " su yan reminded Syria.


Syria stood up and went to open the door. She was stunned to see that yu yan didn't come alone. She shifted her gaze to the man who was standing there majestically.  


Syria gulped as her face turned red with blush. Wei Shang is indeed a man with beauty. The man had a strong and cold feature,  painted with perfection. Her heart thumped loudly when she saw Wei Shang. 


She quickly changed her expression and smiled brightly. As if she was delighted to see her sister and brother-in-law.  She came close to yu yan and hugged her "Sister you're finally here" 


"Yes, I'm finally here," Yu yan said with a smile. Nobody knew what exactly she meant. underneath the smile, there is a deep hatred that is enough to swallow both daughter and aunt.


 Su yan quickly came and tell them to sit in the drawing-room. Later, they all sat in the drawing-room and su yan thought in her heart why is he here? Could it be their relationship is good? This type of possibility will hinder her plan. Su yan couldn't think about such things. 


Yu yan looked at the mother-daughter pair who was smiling brightly but hiding their so-called ugly side. When their gazes meet she gently smiled and said, "Aunt me and Wei shang were busy due to our jobs. so, we couldn't come back. I hope you're not angry" 


Su yan smiled back and replied, " How could it be? yu yan,  you're like my daughter and I will never get angry with you ". 


Su yan deliberately said that she is like her daughter. she knew very well that Wei shang is here and she didn't want to hinder her image in front of him.
