Find a boyfriend..

A tall and a thin man had now climbed the stage, where several articles donated for auction were to be displayed. "Good evening everyone. What a bright and sunny evening* it is. I am Mathew, the senior manager working under Kennedy family from past 10 years. Today, I want to thank the Kennedy family, for holding this charitable auction. And now, we shall start with the bidding pricess. Our first article for auction, is this Jade pendant, which is donated by senior Kennedy madam. The bidding shall now start." The man was now standing in front of a velvet cloth covered table, on which was placed a beautiful Jade bracelet, which was donated by Eva's grandmother.

"2500 dollars." Came a voice from the crowd.

"2700 dollars." Echoed another voice from the crowd.

"3000 dollars."

"4500 dollars."

"10,000 dollars!!!" A sudden thundering voice echoed and everybody turned around to see who it was. An old man, dressed elegantly in a black suit was seated on a chair and was smiling looking at the Jade bracelet. He was none other than Eva's grandfather, who would never let anybody else have his wife's favourite jade bracelet.

Eva's grandmother blushed a bit as every body was now looking at the two of them and smiling.

"Sold!! 10, 000 dollars." The tall man on stage spoke excitedly, while handing over the bracelet to senior Kennedy, while everybody hooted and clapped for the romantic couple.

"I hope, we will also be as romantic as your grandparents, even after 49 years of wedding Eva." Richard whispered in the girl's ear. The boy often brought his lips so close to her ear, that it looked like he was giving her fond kisses every now and then.

"That is Richard... If I marry you. And right now, I have no such plans. Tomorrow I am going to the city too." Eva spoke in much anger looking at the boy.

"Haha! Of course you will. Who else would you marry? Your grandparents want to see you get married. Your elder sister is already engaged. Once she gets married, it is our turn! Either find a boyfriend in these few months or sweetie... we are getting married!" Richard smiled, pressing the girl's cheek lightly with his two fingers.
