Everybody looked at the elegant bracelet in awe and soon the bidding started. Eva looked excitedly at the bracelet she had bought one year back, while on a trip to Paris. She had worn the bracelet once and then later decided to give it for the auction. This is how both the sisters were pampered! From not wearing any dress twice to not repeating their jewellary, they were a source of envy for everybody!

"30,000 dollars." Spoke a lady in a white dress.

"32, 000 dollars." An excited man, in a black suit spoke up.

"35,000 dollars." The lady in white dress spoke up again, giving angry looks to the man in black suit.

"38,000 dollars." The man grinned looking at the lady.

Everybody was now looking at the two of them, fighting eagerly for the beautiful piece of jewellary.

"40,000 dollars." The lady smiled wickedly, looking at the man. They both were passing each other dirty and angry looks, when suddenly a thunderous voice echoed all around the garden.

"50,000 dollars!" Richard who was sitting besides Eva shouted excitedly, looking at her and smiling happily. The lady in white and the man in black suit looked at the boy who had bid such a huge amount, with surprise and anger.

"Richard? What are you doing?" Eva whispered in surprise.

"Just what grandfather did for grandmother. Buying you back, your priced possession my lovely." Richard brought his face closer to Eva's face, startling the girl immediately. Everyone was now alteady looking at Richard, who was now getting all cozy with Eva. Eva rolled her eyes nodding her head in diapproval.

"How can even think of copying grandpa and grandma?? They are husband and wife and besides they love each other a lot. Also, the jade bracelet was grandma's favourite while I have several other bracelets like this one and does not really mean anything special to me." Eva whispered back in much frustration and anger. The boy was now crossing all his limits with such stupid things.
