(Andrew's POV)
'Don't be an asshole.' I thought to myself as the car approached.
It looked like an SUV, it slowed down bit by bit until it eventually stopped.
Two doors opened as two people came out with guns pointed at me, I naturally put my hands up in the air after dropping Sergei's revolver. A guy and a girl, they looked like a young couple, the girl was wearing a red sweater and light blue jeans, she was relatively average height for girls, not more than 5'5 though, also, she had a bit of a short hair. The guy had more to him, he was wearing a black hoodie with navy jeans, he was a bit skinny but also a bit muscly, he was a about 6'1 with long legs.
"Why are you blocking our way?" Said the guy.
"I heard the engine, I thought I could use a ride." I replied.
"Planning on sabotaging our car?" Asked the girl seriously.
"No, no, I thought maybe I can accompany you lot to wherever it is you are going to."
"What makes you think we will take you with us?" Asked the guy as he lowered his weapon a bit.
"I... I don't really know, all that I know is that I need to get to Manchester as soon as possible."
"Manchester you say, consider a deal, but under one condition." Said the guy.
"And that it?" I said as I raised a brow.
"You hand over all of your weapons to Jenna, including your belt if you are wearing one." He replied.
"Deal, I won't need them anyways." I said as I kicked the revolver towards the girl.
They raised their guns again at me for some reason.
"I will search you for weapons." Said the guy.
"No need, here you go." I dropped the bowie knife towards him.
"Aiden, how do we know we can trust him?" The girl called Jenna said.
'Aiden, ugly name.' I thought to myself as I shrugged.
"Tie him up?" Aiden said.
"What the hell!" I snapped. "I'm out here, and I need help, so why don't you two idiots help an old man." I said angrily.
They looked startled and shaken up. They slowly lowered their guns and I lowered my arms quickly because they started to hurt.
"Thank you." I said finally to break the silence.
"You can crash at the back, you look like you could take some rest." Jenna said.
"I really do, but before we go, can we take some time to bury my friend, he died in that building." I said as I pointed to the one with the broken glass.
"Sure, sure, lead on." Aiden said.
I took them around the dead fog monster and into the building where Sergei died.
We climbed the stairs and went towards the windows. Sergei was laying there, void of any emotion, lifeless.
Aiden helped me carry him downstairs and bury him. We put three stones as a tombstone for him.
"Sergei was a great friend, always looked out for us, always had our best interest at heart. He was a brother to me and Daniel, I'm sorry he isn't here bruv, but I promise you that I will find him and make sure he gets to Manchester safely." I said before walking away from the grave.
"So, who is this Daniel guy?" Aiden asked.
"My friend, he is out there, hopefully, on his way to Manchester, so we have the best chance to find him on the road or there." I said.
"Alright, get in, no funny business." Jenna said with a cross face.
"Why the long face princess?" I said with a mean face.
"Knock it off." Aiden said. "Get in and let's get on the way, we wasted a lot of time as it is."
I got into the backseat and immediately laid down, they got up front, Aiden started the engine and started driving.
"We never formally introduced ourselves, I'm Aiden Phillips."
"Jenna McCormack."
"Andrew." I said as I covered my eyes with my forearm.
"Just Andrew? No last name?" Said Aiden.
"What do you need that for? Filling an adoption form?" I snapped.
"Not really, we formally introduced ourselves." Jenna said.
"Well, I guess I'm not formal, deal with it." I said.
"Okay fine, fine." Aiden said with a sigh. "What did you use to be? Before this whole thing."
"A Geography teacher at a high school." I said. "You two?"
"I was a college student." Jenna said.
"And I was a car mechanic." Aiden said.
"I guess the end of the world brings the most different people together." I whispered.
"What was that?" Jenna said.
"Nothing to worry about princess." I responded.
"I don't like this guy." Jenna said to Aiden.
"I know, but the bastard sure looks like he knows how to take care of himself."
"So you two didn't let me tag along based on my charming looks." I said sarcastically.
They giggled a bit, that was a decent sign and promising too.
'just win their hearts Andy, please.' I said to myself.

(4 Hours Later)
The car slowed down very quickly and I fell of the backseats, I hastily to see what happened.
"What the bloody hell?" I snapped.
"There are people, get ready." Aiden said as he extended his arm back to give me my revolver.
I saw Jenna was driving now.
'How long did you sleep you lazy shit?' I asked myself.
"Ready up." Jenna cued.
"All ready." I said as I cocked the revolver up.
The car came to a halt as we got off in quick and tidy fashion. All guns pointed at two men standing on the street.
I recognized one of the men but it didn't ring a bell, but had no idea who the other was. They both raised their hands slowly and waited.
Then the one I recognized lost his balance and flopped on his back. I ran quickly to see if I could do anything to help him.
I came close and slapped his face a couple of times before I recognized him.
"Daniel?"
