CHAPTER 5: THE REVENGE

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat" Thamizh tumultuously screams in the middle of the night. He gets relieved when it just a dream.

"Oh god, what will I do if this will happen in my life. It's better for me to die than marrying that drama queen." Thamizh dreamt about Preethi and him eloped from home and marrying each other at a temple.

He prayed to god that will never happen in his life. Later he got an idea on how to revenge Preethi and make her suffer.

"What if I win her trust and pretend to love her and make her fall for me then ditch her and deflate her in front of everyone. This will give a massive impact in her life and she will never forget about me and will regret messing with me her whole life," said Thamizh to himself proudly.

"Thank God for giving me the idea to crush her confidence and knock her down forever." Thamizh thank the god.

"If I do tomorrow, then she would be suspicious about my plan so I have to wait some more day to start my mission." He adds.

In the morning, he asked Charu to take a day off as they will going on a small vacation.

"Hey Charu I'm so bored at home, let's go travel somewhere far so we can strengthen our love. I already took a day off from my work. I would be elated if u join me on the trip or I will bring my friends instead" Thamizh talking to Charu on the phone.

"Are u serious Thamizh, I'm always planning to have a short vacation but due to my works, I don't have time to go. But don't worry, your lovely girlfriend will join you but in one condition, you have to take me to the beach." Charu tells him romantically.

"Yes babe whatever you want., I will pick you up from your house. Be ready I will be there within one hour. Bye baby, I missed you very much" says Thamizh to Charu before hanging up the call.

Later Charu inform her office that she is taking a day off for a personal matter. Then she also tells her parents that she is going on a short vacation with her friends.

"Mom, Dad, I'm going on a vacation for a day with my school friends" Charu lied to her parents because she was afraid that they won't allow her when she told them the truth that she is going with Thamizh.

"Take care and have a blast day baby" her mom replied to her.

Later Thamizh came to her house and Charu introduced him to her parents. They welcomed him home happily. Later she tells her parents that she and Thamizh are seeing each other for a while now.

Later in the car, she told him that her team successfully managed to get some evidence about the murder. She informs him that the victim was stabbed many times before the killer slits the victim's neck.

"Hey baby, we are on a romantic vacation, let us forget about our career for this one day and concentrate on our vacation. I want to spend a romantic and intimate time with you," said Thamizh to Charu in a husky voice.

"Ok baby I promise," she tells him and kiss his cheeks.

They had lots of special memories together and it was a wonderful vacation too.

In the evening, they went back to their home.

"Thanks for the wonderful time baby, I cleared my mind and I think I can concentrate on my work more now" Charu passionately tells him before she enters her house.

"I would travel with you to the end of this world baby, thank you for taking time out of your day just for me, love u baby'' Thamizh add on.

Later in the night, Thamizh is ready to execute his evil plan tomorrow.

"Haha, the drama queen is gonna regret messing with me," he tells himself

Later in the morning, Preethi's chief called her parents and asked them to allow Preethi to work as usual. He promised them that this wont happen again. He tells them that's not Preethi's fault.

Her parents convinced and allowed her to go to the office. They warned her to stay away from Thamizh and avoid him if he again approaches her.

"I promise mom, I won't go near again and avoid him" she hugged her mom happily for letting her go to work.

Before she went to her office, she stops by a temple near her house. She went inside unknowingly that Thamizh also following her since she moved from her home.

"Now what, I have to go the temple" sigh and scoff Thamizh angrily.

" I don't know how her family handles her drama at home. I can't even stand it for even a minute but her family handling it since her birth. Pity her family." he murmured to himself.

Later he follows her in the temple and kept shouting her name

"Preethi, stop" Thamizh called her

"Preethi, let me talk with you for a minute" he adds on

"Preethi, I'm very sorry for the other day incident. I feel very guilty and I can't even sleep peacefully". He act innocently.

Preethi realized he is behind her calling her name continuously and decides to runs from him and avoid him. She later recalled how much ashamed her family went through because of him and she promised to her mom.

She tries to hide from him and hide behind the wall. She looks for him but he is nowhere to be seen.

"Thank god he went away" she talked to herself

"Hey, Preethi are you looking for me" he called her from behind.

She stunned to see him and they have an eye lock. He blocked her from going nowhere and ask her to listen to him. She shout for help.

" Preethi listen to me, I don't do it intentionally, please trust me. I lost my temper. But even now I regret what I have done to you. I can understand what your family must go through because of my stupid act." Thamizh trying to explain to Preeti.

"What can you understand, my whole neighborhood laughing at my family and judged my character. The respect that my father earns destroyed because of you. I will never forgive you. Never." Preethi loses her temper and shouts at thamizh.

" Preethi try to...…" before thamizh could finish his sentence Preethi screams.

"Help me! Help me!" she scream.

"This man tried to hurt me. Please save me" Preethi shouted for help.

The people there gathers and asked Thamizh to let her go or they will call the police to misbehave with a girl. Thamizh lets her go and glare at the people angrily.

Preethi runs from there and went to her scooter. She then called cops and tells them that a guy is trying to harm her and following her since morning. She asked them to come faster to the temple.

While Preethi trying to start her scooter. Thamizh stops her and asked her to listen to him. He hold her hands and pick the key from her scooter.

"I will give you this key if u listen to me," he said

"Give me the key now, I don't want to talk with you, just get lost from my life. I have bear enough of your troubles. I beg you, please let me go" she pleaded to him to give the key.

Later while the conversation is going, the police arrives and Preethi shouts for them. She points Thamizh and tells them he is torturing her since morning.

" I'm the girl who called you here and he is the guy I mention with. Please take him away from me." Preethi informs the cops.

Thamizh stands shocked. His anger is coming out but he manages to stop and keep the guilty face thus Preethi will trust him.

"Preethi listen to me once, I'm really sorry. I'm changed now. Please trust me Preethi. Give me a second chance to prove I'm changed. Please forgive me. I'm sorry. Please Preethi, I'm not the bad guy as u think. Even I have a sister. That's why I can understand how much shamed you have gone through because of me. Thamizh told her even though he is being beating blue and black by the cops.

Then the cops dragged him in their vehicle. Preethi glared him angrily while he is making an innocent face to make her trust that he is changed for a better person now.

"I won't leave you Preethi. I will surely turn your life as hell. I wanna destroy your whole life miserably." he talks to himself in the car.

Later in the police station, he was bailed by his friends and the officer warns him.

"you got escape today, if the girl complains about you next time, I won't let you out for your whole life. Mark my words." the officer warned him after he behaving badly to other cops.

Later outside the station, his friend making fun of him and mocks him.

" hey loser, she once again proves you are a real loser. What you gonna do with her. She won every time you mess with her. Your charm doesn't affect her at all. Today she even put you in the prison. She is getting stronger while you are getting weaker, hahaha" his friend laughing at his situation

"can you shut up" he yelled at his friend and left the place angrily.

His anger towards Preethi grows deeper. He cursed her.

Later in the house. He called Charu and talked to her for a while

" babe, why arent you take my calls today," Charu asked Thamizh

" I was kinda busy wifey, why u missed your dear husband" he flirts with her to distract her from asking other questions.

"aww so sweet," she tells him while blushing.

Then they end their conversation.

After 2 days, Thamizh went to Preethi's office to talk to her. He then talk to one of the staff to ask Preethi whereabouts.

"Hey gorgeous, did you know where is Preethi? He asked her in a romantic manner

"Hey honey, she is in her office, why you are looking for her? She asked her.

"nothing I just wanna talk to her, can u called her and ask her to come here" he replied

" yeah baby, anything for you," she tells Thamizh while groping his hand.

Later her boss saw Thamizh and asked him to get out of their office. He chased him out before Preethi could see him.

"get out of her now before Preethi come, she already faced a lot of troubles because of you, please stay away from that naive girl." the boss tells Thamizh harshly.

Before he could do that, Preethi comes there and saw Thamizh.

" get out from my workplace now" scream Preethi loudly to Thamizh

"why you come here, you wanna humiliate me in front, my colleague, now?" she adds on.

"just get out from my sight" she screams to thamizh angrily

Thamizh get out of her office and wait outside. She asked Preethi to trust him and forgives him.

" Preethi I know I have already hurt you many times, but I already changed. I made a big mistake but I didn't do it intentionally. The guilt has been killing me every second.

Please trust me Preethi" he pleaded fakingly to make her believe.

"I will wait outside until you forgive me" he adds on.

Suddenly a huge thunderous sound was heard. Then after a few moments, it started to rain with hail storm. Thamizh gets drenched and kept coughing but he still waits outside to make Preethi forgive him.

"Preethi I will wait here until you forgive me" he pleaded to her.

" Preethi I know I'm a monster to you and treat you badly in the past, but let me proves to you that I'm changed; he said to Preethi while kneeling down outside her office.

Thamizh kept coughing. Preethi's colleagues asked her to forgive thamizh and let him come inside.

"Preethi, he may be a bad person but you are not, why are you punishing him this badly," her colleague asked her to forgive and forget the past.

Preethi still stands adamantly and watching him suffering from the cold. Her colleagues plead her to forgive him and let him come inside as the weather is getting worsen.

Preethi went near him.

"I forgave you Thamizh," Preethi told Thamizh while staring at her friends.

Her friends later welcomed Thamizh happily to their office.

Thamizh tried to talk to Preethi but she went away. This irked him but he calms himself down and starts to flirt with the staff.

Preethi watches them from her cabinet.

Later almost 2 hours of rain, its stops. Preethi decides to go to her home.

"Preethi" Thamizh called excitedly

" what you want now" she rudely asks him.

" did you think I forgive you my wholeheartedly. I just forgive you for the sake of my friends. You are not asking sorry from your heart. You don't even mean your sorry. Did u even know the real meaning of sorry" Preethi questions him sternly?

"I don't know what you are up to now. You must have some idea about revenging me, but I'm really not interested to argue or fight with you anymore. The whole neighborhood is laughing at me and call me characterless. My whole family is embarrassed and some stranger text me nastily to me. This all because of you Thamizh." she holds his collar angrily and tells him.

Then she went to her home sadly.

Thamzih got angry on Preethi even more as she is the first woman to hold his collar and scold him. He feels humiliated once again.

At home, he decides to make a video and took the whole blame on himself.

"Hey guys, I'm sure lots of you guys knew me. yeah, I am the one from the viral video. I just want to say that I'm the one who is wrong and I kissed her because I lost my temper and the only thing in my mind is humiliating her in front of everyone. I'm requesting you guys to stop spreading the videos and not to judge her character. She is innocent. Please stop sending the videos. Think about your sisters . will you do the same if the same things happen to her? I'm sorry Preethi for troubling you and I'm really regret of my own act." said Thamizh while recording his own video.

He posts his video on every social media platform. His video went viral in just 2 hours. Later in the night, Charu comes to his house and confront him about the video.

" Thamizh that day you told me that Preethi was the one wrong and why today you made a video and took the blame on yourself. said Charu.

" today Preethi come and plead him to make a video and took all the blame. At first, I refused but he said her whole neighborhood is laughing at her family and teases her sister every time she went to her college. Preethi pleaded me a lot and I can understand her feeling as I myself have a sister. So that's why I took the blame Preeti for the sake of her family. I don't wanna her family to ashamed for Preethi's wrongdoing. He brainwashed Charu.

"Aww my baby, I'm so impressed with you today. My love and respect for you is increasing too. I am so lucky to have such a genuine guy as you Thamizh, I love you." she told him while holding his hand.

He pulls her closer and whisper " thank you my sunshine"

Later in the morning, Preethi's friend send her his video and she was so shocked as he took the whole blame. She happily shows her family the video while screaming "my name got cleared, at last, I got my dignity back" she scream happily while hugging her mother.

Later in the office, she jumps happily and tells that Thamizh admits he was wrong. Thamizh watches from far and started to smile without his acknowledge because it was a first step to make Preeti fall In love for him.

While on the other hand, Charu got evidence of the murder. She gets to know that her killer is most probably left-handed as the wound on the victim body is from top right to bottom left.

She later when to see others files as she feels this murder is quite similar to a murder that happens a year ago. She went to the storeroom to search for the files.

She finds the case sheets and shocked to see the same exact location of the would and the way the killer killed his last victims. So she realized something is wrong and she has to investigate further about this case.
