Chapter VII

Kaguya stand up from her seat and walk toward the window. She look at the falling raindrops on her window, still feeling sleepy. She was alone at the Student Council room as usual because Chiyo had a practice at her Kendo club while Kazuo at his swimming club. She turn around as she heard the door open. Her expression darken as Hiroshi enters the room. He flinch as he notice her expression.

"Y-You said that I-I can spend my free t-time here, so I-I came here b-because I-I can't l-leave yet because of the rain." Hiroshi stutter as he close the door behind him

"If you want, I can leave." Hiroshi added

"No, you can stay. If you can shut your mouth, that is." Kaguya said as she comb her waist-lenght white hair

"Thank you." Hiroshi smile while Kaguya only hum in respond

He sit at the sofa while Kaguya went back to at the falling raindrops. Hiroshi look at her for a minute before closing his eyes and lean back on his seat. Kaguya sneak a glance at Hiroshi in the corner of her eyes.

'Nothing changed. You are still the same Endo Harashi that I've known since first year middle school.'

Kaguya sigh before turning to look at the falling raindrops again as silence filled the whole room. The rain continue to grow heavy as minutes passes by.

"Hey, Kaya." Hiroshi called out as he open his eyes

"I said stop calling me so casually as if we're close. That was in the past and I don't want to talk about it anymore." Kaguya spat earning her a chuckle

"Do... you hate me?" Hiroshi ask making Kaguya clutch her first

"Yes, more than anything else." She respond

"I see." A sad smile crept up to his lips as his hair shadowed his eyes

"Then what will you feel if I told you that I've loved you since we were in our first year?" Kaguya's eye widen at his words before hanging her head low

Kaguya clutch her fist so thight that blood starts to drip from her hand because of her nails digging on her palm.

'Loved me since first year, you say?! Are you going to mess with me again?!'

Kaguya grit her teeth and was about to said something when Hiroshi interrupt her.

"It's the truth. I just couldn't find the right time to tell you and by the time I was ready to tell you, Fukuda confessed to me. And I accept it after seeing you happy with some other guy." Hiroshi said as he hang his head down

He turn to look at Kaguya who was looking outside the window with her hair shadowed her eyes as a thin line form on her lips. He can't tell what expressio she is wearing right now, but he know she's in pain and feel frustrated at the same time.

"The past is in the past and there is no need to discuss it again." Kaguya whisper enough for Hiroshi to hear

"I know that very well." Hiroshi said

"But!" He stand up and slam his hands on the table making Kaguya look at him

"No matter how many times you pushed me away or throw hurtful words at me, I won't leave! I've already lost you once and I won't lose you twice!" Hiroshi exclaimed

"I'll keep pestering you about your forgiveness until you give it to me! I'll keep you pestering about your trust until you give it to me again!No matter how hard it is, I'll keep asking for you to forgive me, trust me again, and love me again!" His eyes filles with determination as he said those words while Kaguya only stand still and hang her head down

"Just you wait, I'll make you love me again, Araraki Kaguya! I'll make you love me until death! And I'll love you until my last breath!"
