The sky was as bright as day. At the moment I opened my eyes, it felt like all my memories of that journey back were being forgotten as well. In a blink of an eye, everything became black. I wasn't able to move a single muscle. It was a warm, bright feeling. Then, in an instant, the peacefulness seemed to disappear, and a sharp pain from my forehead attacked me, drawing my attention to it. The sensation that had gone beyond memories, pain. The sensation that was beyond the sensation of a physical injury, pain. Even though I didn't feel pain in the slightest, my hardware couldn't handle the concept of it. My memory seemed to have lost all personality and was left with only the need to survive.
Then I was born, as a human. I was thrown on to my stomach and repeatedly spanked. I looked at them with a straight face and they looked back in horror. Why, what have I done to deserve this. Little did I know they thought I was dead. I was checked, to see if I was breathing with glass under my nose instead. Everyone's expressions easied and I fell asleep in the arms of my mother.
