Restarting Life In Another World

After spending the night on the lakeside, our party traveled westward. It was a fine day, a little hotter than usual, but there was no sign of rain.

We came across several small forests on the way, which were good spots to take a break.

Things were going back to normal with the princesses. We talked about the places that we traveled through on the way.

I finally understood why Markus had been looking at us and grinning on the way. Now that smile of his was making me feel a little uncomfortable.

Even though our aim was to reach as close to the city as possible, we couldn't get there on time. However, we did travel two-thirds of the distance on the first day and covered the rest in just about six hours the next day.

Everything went as planned on the way. There were few abnormalities, including some monster movements, but Flare dealt with them even before anyone else could notice.
