There were mysterious murders taking place at District 12 every last weekend of the month and the serial killer was at large.



"Our killer was not just deliberately peeling of the face of his victims. He was also eviscerating their body and purging out their organs, particularly their hearts. It was like the killer wanted to remove everything that made one human."


Two people who used to be high school friends and also shared a painful past; both lost a loved one on an incident that happened six years ago decided to join hands to solve this mystery.

One was retired a forensic anthropologist who turned a  new leaf and chose to become a professor at a medical school


While the other was a former law enforcement officer who had decided to be into seminary and was just a step away from becoming an officially ordained priest

Will they be able to identify the notorious killer that lurked the shadows of their district???

The Killing at District 12

Over the course of the past six years that Santina had been consulted to work under the police department, she had also formed some theories regarding the underrated murders happening not only on their district but on their entire country as a whole. Theories that would prove to be highly controversial if she ever dared went public about it.


One might wonder, why did she not shared her theories to the public then??? Or why was she doing any of that in the first place???


Well, it all came down to her fascination in solving crimes, that sparked on her the day her fiancee died.


Sebastian was Mikael's best friend as well as the other party's partner in law enforcement or a buddy as how they termed it in the department.


The two used to work together under the same team before.


But on the day that specifically happened six years ago, when the police have this a big buy-bust operation on an alleged drug den, Mikael got stuck on heavy traffic on his way to the location and so he ended up arriving late.


Which was actually a blessing in disguise, because if he happened to arrive on time that day, then he would only end up adding on the long list of officers who died an unjust death on that operation.


The investigation conducted afterward lead to the conclusion that there was actually a mole on the team; a traitor who cost the lives of his colleagues. But what came more surprising afterward was that when all the pieces of evidence presented were all pointing at Sebastian.


Officer Aragon who was Sebastian's immediate supervisor at that time was the only one to believe that Sebastian was innocent. But no one believed him either and since he was just a powerless and an uninfluential officer back then, he could not do much about it.


Mikael also strongly believed that his friend was being framed by someone in the higher position so he lost his trust in the national police from then on, and so he went AWOL afterward.


Likewise, Santina also left her post at the forensic department


They both could not stand working and got to meet the same people every day whom they once trusted and treated as their friends and family turning their back on Sebastian just because of a lousy accusation.


And the sad part was Sebastian was not even there to justify himself anymore because he died on service, only to be wrongly accused and for his name to be tarnished in the end.
