Kill Mode - Rainbow

Rainbow was stuck in her mind, blindly following the populars as they went to class. Was that Gary Sheffield? Her mind must still by fried from her so called 'kill mode'. It must have mixed up what she was seeing she told herself. She glanced up at Barry, he seemed awfully chipper considering he'd almost died earlier... She tensed her fists. That 'kill mode' scared her, it had completely taken over her, blinding her with rage. She'd expended a lot of magic over nothing too. She had to get a grip, if she was in a situation where she needed that magic and because of this she didn't have it, she could die.

She kept walking and tried to catch up to them, they always walked way faster than her, simply because she was so small. Then she bumped into Barry, they'd suddenly stopped, since they had reached the classroom already. She groaned and crossed her arms as Barry started mocking her. Rainbow's mind wondered back to the boy, it couldn't have been Gary, it wasn't possible. He was back in Water Town meeting pretty girls or something. She thought as the idea rolled around her mind like a loose bowling ball. It wasn't possible, she concluded.

"What was all that earlier?" Dimond suddenly asked. Rainbow glanced up and noticed that Barry and the other populars had all left to go to their own classes. Rainbow frowned and gave her a look. Dimond was always inconsistent in whether she was nice to her or not. "What?! You almost killed my boyfriend and let our secret get out!" Dimond argued in a hushed voice.

"It wasn't exactly like I was trying too!" Rainbow replied, realising, from the way she'd worded it, that Dimond still didn't care about her. After all, it wasn't like she was super freaked out that she'd just found out that she could become a killing machine.

The bell rang so Rainbow and Dimond gave each other their last glares and headed into the classroom. It looked like their relationship was going to be a little rocky for a while... Rainbow sighed.
