Chapter 5 Of Volume 1 Unexpected Encounter

Journal Entry 12 Brothers of Blood

Well I had a run in with a group of players all from the same guild on Floor 59 nicknamed the Floor of Raging Fire for its intense heat waves and lava flows. Anyway the players are from the guild Knights of the Blood Oath. If I remember right Asuna was and still is the second in command of the guild. No one here seems to be her so these members are some of the other front line grunts. Well I went up to them and asked if there was any news from the frontline. Their squad leader, a guy called Flintlock, spoke up and said that at least half of the floor boss dungeon is cleared but it's starting to become difficult. I offered to gather some friends of mine and help clear it out. They said they will accept all the help they can get so I sent a message to my buds telling them to meet in front of the dungeon entrance.

Journal Entry 13 Near Death Experience

I don't know how we survived but I did. After finally clearing the way to the boss room me and my team volunteered to check out the boss room and see what we are to expect. After we got permission from the group leader. Me and the team went in but when we got close enough to the boss to trigger the battle and draw him out the door slammed shut and we couldn't open the door. We drew our weapons and prepared to fight. This boss was nothing like we had ever seen before. Mainly because there were three of them. Six players versus three bosses. We could hear the raid group outside yelling and screaming our names and asking what's happening but it was futile. Their noise soon dimmed out and all we could hear was the roar of the triplet bosses as they charged to us with murderous intent. These bosses were a literal hell to deal with. One of them was made out of Obsidian, one out of lava, and the other was made out of fire. We were on defense for like 20 minutes before we could attack them ourselves. When we did, my close friend and crush Yokihama used her water type sword skill against the fire boss and dealt serious damage bringing it into the red while Mater, another close friend, provided support for her. Me and Tonaka went after the Obsidian boss with heavy sword skill attacks. As for the Lava boss, Toren and Franti assaulted it with a mix of heavy and elemental sword skills. At some point I swore I heard Kirito on the other side of the door telling us to hang on and fight hard. 10 minutes passed before we beat the bosses and the doors opened. What the raid team saw was the final boss exploding into bright blue and white particles and six exhausted players lying on the ground. When the shock was over and everyone calmed down we all took a long break and went back to the safe zone to celebrate our outstanding victory. This will be a day long remembered.
