Toy Chica woke to a tapping on her shoulder. "Toy Chica, wake up." It was Mangle. "Honey, Winter wants to speak to you."
"Who's Winter?" Toy Chica asked, not lifting her head.
"Winter is the white cat," Mangle replied, pulling Toy Chica to her feet. "She's in charge here, now go on." Toy Chica sighed, but left the party room and ventured down the hallway, back into the main room. Winter, the white cat in the pink dress, stood at the end of the hall, waiting for her.
"You wanted to see me?" Toy Chica said, a touch of worry in her voice.
"Not me," Winter replied. "Him." She moved aside, revealing Bonnie, completely fixed and functional. Toy Chica gasped, hand flying to her mouth.
"Hey," he said, waving sheepishly.
"Bonnie!" Toy Chica exclaimed, rushing forward and flinging her arms around him. "You're ok!" Bonnie hugged her back, and she rested her head on his chest.
"Yeah," he murmured. "Thank you."
"For what?"
"For everything you did. In the old pizzeria, in the van, and now here."
"But you were unconscious!" she said, pulling back. He took her hands in his.
"Not completely," he said. "I couldn't move, speak, or see, but I was aware of what went on around me."
"It was nothing," Toy Chica said, blushing.
"No, really. You saved my life, Toy Chica." She didn't say anything, but blushed even harder. He took her hand. "Come on, the others have called a meeting." He led her over to one of the table where the others were sitting. She sat down next to Bonnie, who put his arm around her shoulder.
"- don't know where we're going to live," Puppet was saying. "We can't just set up here, it'll be suspicious."
"Actually," Cotton said. "We have a plan. Winter?" Toy Chica noticed Toy Bonnie staring at Cotton, eyes glazed over. She smiled.
"Yes, thank you Cotton. We've posted a sign outside of the restaurant, saying that it's closed for renovations for a few days. In the meantime, we can get you all set up here."
"Woah, seriously?" Chica asked. (Not Toy Chica.. :p)
"Yeah," said Cotton. "We have some instruments backstage; me and Winter only sing."
"Let's do it!" said Freddy.
"Alright, follow us!" said Winter, standing up. Everybody followed her backstage. There were quite a bit of instruments. "Everybody pick an instrument," Winter said, stepping back. Toy Chica walked over and began rummaging through a box. She looked up as she noticed something leaning against the wall, however. She reached out and grabbed a beautiful red guitar.
"Bonnie, c'mere!" She called. "Look what I found!"
"Oh wow!" He said, coming over and taking the guitar. "It looks just like my old one!" He played a few experimental notes. "Sounds like my old one too! Thanks!" He hugged her, then walked back outside so Cotton could talk to him.
"Ooh, progress!" Mangle said from the other side of the room.
"Oh, shh!" Toy Chica said playfully, rummaging through the box again. She pulled out some sort of round instrument, it had little metal circles surrounding it. When she shook it, it made a fun shaking noise. (Can't guess what it is? It's a tambourine! But shh! Don't tell Toy Chica!) "What's this?" Toy Chica asked, giggling as she shook it again.
"That's a tambourine," Winter said. "It's a fun little instrument."
"I think I'll have this one," Toy Chica said. "Besides, I can always switch later."
"That's fine," Winter said. "Now go out and wait with Bonnie and Cotton." Toy Chica did so, sitting on the stage next to Bonnie.
Finally, everybody had picked their instruments. Toy Freddy had a synthesizer, which he would play in the back of the stage, behind the others. Toy Bonnie chose a drum set, which was set up opposite of the synthesizer. Foxy had another guitar, and Mangle had a pair of maracas. Chica has a violin, and Freddy had a keytar. (Look it up if you're curious.) Puppet would do what he always did back at the old pizzeria, in a present box they had fashioned together.
Winter and Cotton began organizing everybody into their starting places on the stage. Toy Freddy and Toy Bonnie were in the back, with the big instruments. Foxy and Bonnie were in the front, but one was on the left near the end and the other was on the right near the end. Toy Chica was next to Bonnie and Mangle next to Foxy. Chica and Freddy were off to the sides in the middle. Winter and Cotton were front and center with their microphones, singing the main parts. Toy Chica and Mangle were in charge of backup chorus since their instruments didn't need as much concentration as the others. The next two days were for practicing.
.......
It was the night before the pizzeria opened again. The animatronics were all in their places on stage, as if powered down. The lights were off. Then, a spotlight shown on Toy Bonnie, and he began playing the drums. Then on Mangle and Toy Chica, who began shaking their maracas and tambourine in time with the drum. Then the guitars and keytar, then the synthesizer. Chica began with her violin. They played the melody/harmony for a few moments before Winter and Cotton came to life, singing beautifully. Toy Chica and Mangle sung backup, just as beautifully.
"That was perfect, guys!" Winter said when they were done. "I think we're ready for our performance later today. Now, it's 6 AM, so do what you do or whatever when the pizzeria opens." Toy Chica nodded, her hands dropping to her sides and her head dropped. She looked deactivated.
Before long, the employees entered the building. Soon after, the first customers of the day. And so the day began.
