Toy Chica opened her eyes, blinking a few times. 'What happened?' She wondered. She and Bonnie were performing, and those children had dumped water in her. That was all she could remember. She sat up, looking around. Bonnie sat near her, head resting on his arms, which were on the table. He was fast asleep.
She opened her beak to say something, but someone took her arm. Mangle shook her head, finger to her lips. She pointed towards the other side of the room. Toy Chica nodded, quietly slipping off the table and followed Mangle to where she had indicated. "Bonnie stayed with you for hours," Mangle murmured. "He's exhausted. We should let him sleep."
"How long was I out?" Toy Chica asked. Mangle checked the clock. It was 2 AM.
"Almost nine hours." Toy Chica gaped.
"Nine hours?!" She exclaimed. Mangle cringed, glancing over at Bonnie. He shifted, muttering in his sleep. "Oops," Toy Chica whispered.
"Yes, nine hours. Puppet fixed your insides."
"Wait, how was I asleep for nine hours? The restaurant doesn't close until eleven!"
"We sent everybody out and closed the restaurant for the day." Then Mangle suddenly hugged her. "I'm so glad you're ok," she whispered, pulling back.
"I am too," Toy Chica said, laughing. "Come on, let's sit down and talk."
..........
Bonnie yawned, waking up. It was 4:30 AM. When had he fallen asleep? He looked back at the table to find Toy Chica gone. He stood up, looking around, then sighed in relief as he saw her chatting with Mangle not too far away. She saw him and waved him over. "Hey," she said. Bonnie hugged her.
"I'm glad you're ok," he said. "I feel so bad, I should have done something to stop those kids."
"It's not your fault," Toy Chica said. "You couldn't have done that without revealing us."
"I'm gonna go find Foxy," Mangle said, leaving. Bonnie pulled back a little. Now his hands were on his waist, her hands on his shoulders. He gazed into her eyes. They were a beautiful blue color. She moved her head closer to his, eyes closed. He moved closer as well. Their faces moved closer and closer…
"Oi!" A voice called in their direction. It was Foxy. Mangle looked at them apologetically as she shoved him. "Winter called a meeting!" Toy Chica pulled away, blushing. Bonnie scratches his head, blushing too. They headed over, hand in hand.
"Sorry," Mangle whispered as they joined the group. Winter began speaking, but Bonnie had trouble listening.
..........
Toy Chica left as soon as the meeting was over. She had to use the restroom. (Yes they can use the bathroom too. I needed this for a certain part that's about to happen.) She quickly did her business, but as she was leaving, someone pushed her against a wall. "What-" she was interrupted as Toy Bonnie kissed her. She tried to pull away, but Toy Bonnie pushed harder, shoving her farther against the wall.
Finally, he pulled back. Toy Chica gaped as she saw Bonnie standing there, dumbfounded. He stormed off. "Wait, Bonnie!" She called, chasing after him. "It's not what it looks like!" He whirled about to face her.
"Liar!" He shouted. "You're pathetic! And to think u thought you liked me." He shoved her away and left. Toy Chica watched him leave, hands to her beak. She shook her head. Then she turned and walked away, head down, hugging herself. It was near six, she needed to get to the stage. She hoped she could perform normally.
Toy Chica climbed up on the stage and stood in her spot, steeling herself. Mangle opened her mouth, but closed it as she saw the time. Everyone took their spots, including Bonnie. Toy Chica scooted as far away from him as she could get away with, then pretended to be deactivated, like everyone else.
......….
Bonnie glanced at Toy Chica while they were performing. She looked fine, performing and singing like she always did, but Bonnie could see the sadness and rejection in her eyes. Maybe he would talk to her when the pizzeria closed…
They continued performing as usual. Hours and hours of singing and playing instruments. Bonnie was glad when the day finally ended and they could move about freely. He turned to Toy Chica, opening his mouth to speak, to find her walking away with Mangle. Mangle had her arm around Toy Chica's shoulder. Mangle glanced back, glaring at Bonnie before turning back to Toy Chica. Bonnie sighed.
..........
Toy Chica led Mangle to a place she had found a few days ago. It was in the vents. She crawled through them, quiet. She didn't trust herself to speak. After a few minutes of crawling, they entered a little room. Not tall enough to stand in, but big enough for three animatronics to sit. This was Toy Chica's hideout. No one knew where it was, except Mangle. "Alright, tell me what happened," Mangle said as they sat down next to each other. Toy Chica did. She explained everything. "I'm gonna strangle both those bunnies!" Mangle said angrily. "Why did Toy Bonnie kiss you, though? I know for a fact he's got a thing for Cotton."
"I don't know," Toy Chica said, her voice shaking.
"Come here," Mangle said, pulling Toy Chica close. She buried her face in Mangle's shoulder, sobbing. Mangle comforted her gently. They fell asleep quickly.
Toy Chica blinked open her eyes. All her tears were spent. "Mangle," Toy Chica said, shaking her friend awake. "It's probably close to six, we should go." Mangle nodded, and they left the small room in the vents and returned to the stage. Toy Chica ignored Bonnie as she stood in her place. He tried to speak, but she continued ignoring him.
She performed as usual, but this time sadness didn't linger in her eyes. She was angry beyond reason, but she never showed it. Days passed. She ignored Bonnie, waking away whenever he tried to speak. One day, she and Mangle were in the room in the vents. She heard a squeaking noise behind her, and they turned about. Toy Chica only saw a white clown face with a party hat before everything went black.
