Chapter XIV: Fathers

Cora entered the loft and caught a familiar scent. "Peter!" she called out.

"And where have you been?" Peter growled as he walked down the winding steps.

"I was with Tenko. I stayed with him for a couple of days." She replied.

"Lies! I went to his house, and he wasn't there. I watched that damn house, and he never showed up!"

"Why do you care?" Cora snapped.

"I'm your father!" he roared. "You never even went to school without me near you. And if it weren't for Talia, I would have been reading to you the night of the fire."

Cora was speechless. Peter was now standing across from her, but he suddenly stopped walking and sniffed the air.

"No. no-no-no. No!" Peter had now wolfed out. "With him!?"

Cora turned her head down and sniffed her hair. The scent was faint, but a stronger scent came from her cunt. She then realized why Peter was enraged. She could smell Tenko's scent all over her, and she was drenched in it. 'But I showered.' she thought, 'There's no way any is left...unless.'

Images of the night before flood Cora's mind. She remembered when she finally took Tenko's full length, and he touched her cervix for the last time, inducing a full-body orgasm she had only experienced once before in her life. She then thought of his size and realized that she probably had yet to snap back.

Cora pushed past her father and rushed upstairs. In the bathroom, she sighed as she learned her cunt was still spilling much of his seed. Tenko's seed wouldn't be fully gone until her vagina contracted to her regular size or is absorbed based on her knowledge.

"I'm going to smell like him all day." Cora groaned.

"Yes, you are!" Peter shouted from downstairs. "Because you fucked the guy that killed your father!"

"You killed my sister, Dick!" Cora shouted back. "And I'll do it again just to spite you!"

"You're just like your mother!"

"I hope I have his pups, to piss you off! Fuck you, Peter!" Cora looked in the mirror as a single tear stained her cheek. She knew what Peter wanted to call her. But even that would be better than using her mother as an insult. " I wish that fire would have taken you and not my mom."

Cora's last sentence wasn't shouted, but Peter still heard it, and it cut deep. "That's a fucked up thing to say."

"Is it?" Cora spoke at the mirror with a trembling voice. Peter listened as he dug his claws into the desk downstairs. " You killed Laura, and you sold Derek out to Kali and the twins. You're a fucking bastard. And it makes me sick to have you as a father, which is fucking ironic because that's all I ever wished for when I was younger.

"Did Tenko tell you that?"

"He didn't have to. I figured it out. Why else would he want me to stay with him? You claim you weren't in your right mind when you killed Laura. You were feral, and Tenko understands, though he still hates you. But there was a different look in his face after Kali killed Boyd. A look that he had after sniffing around the loft that night. When I tried to defend you, his eyes told it all. You were here when Boyd made the plan."

Peter sighed.

"I hate you, Peter." Cora couldn't help but cry. Peter was officially a dead man to her. Her beloved Uncle actually became the father she wished he was, but not before killing her sister and setting up her brother. Now she wished they weren't even related.

"Cora! Oh, Peter... Is Cora here?" Stiles walked into the loft, ending the conversation between father and daughter.

------------------------

Across town, Tenko had arrived at the Tate house and was tackled by Malia before he could reach the porch. The lovers playfully wrestled, then Tenko let himself get pinned.

" You're in a good mood," said Tenko.

"I am. After today, my dad can ease up. Maybe even let move back home."

Tenko laughed, and Malia dawned a little frown. "Why are you laughing?" she asked.

"Because you still don't understand human parents," Tenko replied.

"But Mark is human, and Nikita let me live with you."

"But your dad is human human. He doesn't have a supernatural wife that's older than the town we live in. When Nikita was born, people married the moment they hit puberty. Shit doesn't work like that no more." Tenko explained as he dashed Malia's hopes.

Malia pouted about how bored she was. She missed the action, and she missed her family. Tenko comforted her, but he could only do so much as long as her father wanted to keep her away from the world.

Tenko was now sitting up, and Malia was straddling his lap as she hugged him. She took a few deep breaths then leaned back to look Tenko in the eyes.

"Cora?" she asked.

"It just happened," Tenko replied. "It was a complicated night. And I wasn't a first. But one thing led to another."

"Should Mareth be cooking for one more?" Malia asked with a slightly wrinkled brow. She wasn't mad, but she didn't know Cora. And Cora that close to Tenko made her worry about his safety.

"Nah. It was probably a one-time thing." said Tenko, "She practically said that herself. It just happened. But I would like it if you and Mareth could take her out. She needs a friend or two. This is her home again. She needs to feel included. Just give her a chance."

"Okay." Malia agreed.

"Alright. I have a present for you," said Tenko. He then pressed his lips to hers, and the lovers were pulled to the astral plane. Tenko projected the memories he took from Peter. Malia watched as Talia Hale transformed numerous times and secretly taught her daughter Laura. Tenko and Malia then watched as Peter and Talia moved family records to the Hale vault under the highschool when the hunters first came to Beacon Hills, and the Alphas (Kali, Ennis, Deucalion) came to town.

"How do we get in there?" Malia asked with excitement. "The secrets in that vault could help achieve full shift again."

"We need a Hale to open it," Tenko replied.

"Cora," said Malia.

"Or Derek." Tenko corrected her. "Let me handle it. I just wanted to show you that full shift was still possible for you."

------------------

After Malia and Tenko went inside, they had lunch with Mr.Tate. It was calm and nice. Mr.Tate actually seemed to like Tenko, and the way Malia smiled and freely moved around him. At times Mr.Tate noticed that they did things in perfect synch without even saying a word. He had to ask if they had telepathy.

Malia explained it in laymen's terms as soul mates, which opened up an avenue for a conversation that Mr.Tate wanted to have with Tenko.

Malia had told her father of Tenko many times. She had also told him of Mareth. Though Malia was quickly learning civility, she had been around Nikita and Mark too long and had not realized that Nikita and Mark weren't the baselines for average parents.

Mr.Tate didn't like the idea of his daughter entertaining ideas of a polygamous relationship. He believed a man and woman fall in love then marry. Plain and simple. Mr.Tate attributed her unnatural views to Tenko's influence.

However, Mr.Tate never outright said anything to Malia. So when he confronted Tenko, it was the first time she had heard her father voice his disagreement. It was sad and confusing for Malia.

Tenko told Mr.Tate that his nature as a Kitsune would never make him normal. He admitted that he never planned to have a normal life and never wanted to make a normal life because normal was simply overrated, and most of the time, it was glitter without the gold. But he declares his love for Malia and reluctantly tells Mr.Tate that if Malia wanted to have a 'traditional' relationship. He would do it because of love.

Mr.Tate was frustrated further. He argued that Malia did know what traditional was and had no idea what right and wrong was, as she spent most of her teenage life trapped as a coyote.

Tenko rebutted that Malia is an intelligent woman that knows what's right and wrong for herself.

"How can she know what right and wrong are if all she knows about the modern world is what you taught her!" Tate roared.

"Look, Mr. Tate, if you disagree, that's perfectly fine. But if you're trying to make me feel some guilt, it's not happening. I love your daughter. We connect in a way that no human can ever understand. And 'we' wouldn't be in a relationship with Mareth unless Malia wanted it too. The three of us are equals. You are her father, and I respect that, but your views won't change the facts."

After Lunch, Malia and Tenko had a talk at Tenko's truck. She wants Tenko and her father to get along, which would be easier if Tenko found a way to get her back in school without raising too many eyebrows. Being in school meant Malia would experience the 'normal' that her father was talking about.

"I'll find a way. I promise," said Tenko.

"I know. I believe in you..." Malia paused for a moment, "Tenko, Your parents, most of the couples on TV are normal. I understand what my dad is saying... But we're not normal, so why does our relationship have to be? I told my father we're soul mates. And we're the captains of our souls and masters of our fates. Our love is ours to decide. I'll talk to him, but don't let today stop you from trying. He is a good man."

Her words touched Tenko. "When are you coming home? I miss you," he tells her.

Malia slowly shakes her head. "Not tonight."

Malia then highlights it would be better to stay with her dad than having him imagine his daughter off having a threesome somewhere.

Tenko laughed from his gut. "Well, you can visit. At least come and see mom."

"I can. And I will." Malia rose and gave him a chaste kiss, "But you should go take another shower. I don't want you smelling like her when I show up."

"You know there are other ways to get rid of another's scent."

"Ahhh, I know. I had to work hard to get Lydia's scent off your sheets. But I think my dad's about ready to test your supernatural healing abilities."

"Girl, I catch bullets with my teeth." Tenko chuckled as he climbed into his truck, "Oh, and I'll send Stiles over to teach your dad what he needs to know. Make sure you stay out of sight. His dad is the sheriff."

"What about Mareth?" Malia asked with a furrowed brow.

"She's off doing something with Deaton. Stiles can handle it." Tenko assured her as he started the truck

"Oh, Tenko!" Malia shouted. "Tell Nikita I said yes."

---------------

-Duluth, Minnesota-

Deucalion, Ethan, and Aiden were at the great lakes aquarium watching the children run by with their classmates as their underpaid teachers ran after them, trying their best to keep class under control.

As most of the tours came to an end, Deucalion and his pack were treated by a mother and son duo, the former being an Alpha herself.

"Deucalion, what the fuck are you doing here, blind bitch?" Jema asked. Jema is a middle-aged woman whose family owned the Duluth waterfront for generations. She also next in line as the Pack Alpha after her brother's early death.

" It seems the Duluth family managed to replace the Alpha they lost after a fox kicked your brother's ass." Deucalion quipped.

Jema and her son Kane growled. Ethan and Aiden then prepared for a fight as well. Though the Duluths never expected the Twins to be Alphas as well.

"Easy now. I came as a friend. Bearing plentiful gifts." said Deucalion.

"What's the catch? You always have ulterior motives. More snake than a wolf, you are." Kane spoke in his mother's stead.

"Is it true that the Duluth family always has two Alphas? The Family head and pack leader, your father. And the heir or heiress apparent, you."

"Deucalion, speak fast before I lose my temper." Jema snarled.

"So Impatient... I know where to find the fox that killed your brother, Duke."

Jema was now seething with rage. "Where?"

"Oh, no. We need your father for this."

The mother-son duo looked at each other.

"Will that be a problem?" Deucalion asked.

"Not at all. It's just..."

"Just what?"

-------------------------

Sometime later, Deucalion and the Twins were walked onto a ranch where they met Bartholomew Duluth. I beast of a man that was all wolf all the time—a large, red-eyed, white-furred, five and a half feet tall Direwolf.

"Father, Deucalion knows where the fox is. He needs our help to kill him." Jema spoke out, and all those present whispered amongst themselves.

After the death of his son, Duke, Bartholomew Duluth fell into a vein bursting rage that resulted in his transformation to a Direwolf --a trait missing from the Duluth Family since their ancestors sailed from the distant shores of Denmark.

Bartholomew stamped his paw and roared with outstanding ferocity. The old man then morphed from a full shift to a partial shift. His thick wild white hair touched his tail bone. His beard reached the middle of his chest, and his cock passed the midpoint of his thigh. Ripped and bursting with muscular power, Bartholomew Duluth stood six feet and five inches tall.

"Where is my son's killer, Deucalion?"
