Chapter 14 Summer Was Here. Ended Soon!

It was already in the midst of July, Elle just stayed home and on Sundays her family went to Church together and spent time eating in their favorite restaurants, they watched late night movie together. She just spent her remaining weeks of summer with her family. She made a journal about her trip in Ridgeland too. It was her yearly routine to write documents for her vacation elsewhere. She wanted to look at them as time pased by for amazing memories to cherish. "Miss Elle!" Nanny Ann called out outside her room. "Come in, Nanny Ann." She commanded politely. "Mr. Andrew is here, " she replied to Elle. "Please tell him I'm coming down, Nanny Ann. Thank you." Elle said, she combed her long brunette hair and gave herself a smile on the mirror. She turned off her stereo, closed her laptop. She brought her phone and closed the door behind her. "Hi Drew! What brought you here?" Elle asked, smiling. "I miss this pretty best friend of mine." Andrew responded with a wink. She just laughed. She turned on the LCD tv and put the channel into MTV. That was her favorite channel everytime she was sitting on their sofa. "When will we go to Phoenix University for enrolment, Elle? Next month is already August and start of our university life." Andrew said excitedly. "Our schedule as Freshman is next week, right?" Elle said reassuring him. "I know but that's a whole week, Elle. So what's the day?" He asked. "Monday, Drew," she said simply. "Relax Drew. Let's enjoy our second week of July first. Just wait here, okay" she said as she headed off to kitchen. "Nanny Ann, please prepare snacks for us. I want ice cream and yes there's cake in the fridge and water, oh you're already doing it Nanny, you're the best!" Elle said to her nanny in a polite voice. "Yes, Miss Elle I'm preparing it now," Nanny Ann said as she sliced the cakes. "I'll just deliver this if it's done, Miss Elle," Nanny Ann said, smiling. "Yes please, Nanny Ann. Thank you," she said as she walked outside the kitchen.

"Wow these are delicious, Elle!" Andrew blurted out." He took the cup of Rocky Road flavored ice cream before the chocolate cake. "What's this cake for?" Andrew asked, smiling. "Mom brought it last night, Drew. No one's birthday yet. Mom just love sweets." Elle replied, smiling. Andrew enjoyed the snacks. "I'm so full!" He added, laughing. It was Wednesday and the sun was up in the middle afternoon. "Let's watch HBO, Elle," he changed the channel. She nodded with a smile. "So how's James? Did he contact you?"He asked suddenly." "Yes Drew. He messaged or chatted me too." Elle said simply. "How's he?"Andrew asked seriously. "He's fine, a chatty one," Elle replied. "That's better. I like him for you, Elle," Andrew said as he stared at her seriously. "Drew! I'm going to university not to love booth." Elle replied, laughing. "I know that, Elle. But I think he is a good and responsible guy." He said with a smile. "Maybe, who knows," she said, shrugging. They watched movie together until sunset and Andrew headed home.
