This was the moment that Elle Smith turned into a beautiful young lady. She was in a young adulthood stage of her life. She prepared herself that late afternoon with the make-up and hairstylist her Mom hired. The hairstylist braided her hair on each side and at the bottom, her hair was loose. She dressed herself in a long, sky blue gown with beads and sequence of flowers in front and a see through long sleeves. She wore an average make-up for the night. She paired her gown with her white stiletto sandals that she and her Mom bought two weeks ago. She finished preparing herself around six thirty in the evening. Her debut party would start at seven o'clock outside their mansion. She just stayed inside her room to rest for awhile, looking at the mirror in front of her, her Mom entered the room and said, "Wow Elle, sweetie, you look fabulously gorgeous! Happy birthday, sweetheart!" Mrs. Bess Smith said, greeting her so happily. She handed her a small box. Elle opened it and saw a gold necklace with a heart pendant. "Thank you so much, Mom." Elle said. She embraced her Mom. "Happy Birthday my beautiful princess!" Mr. Jerry Smith greeted her as he entered the room. "Thank you, Dad!" Her Dad kissed her on the head. "Mom, please." Mrs. Bess Smith put the necklace around her neck. Elle touched it and said, "This is beautiful, Mom!" "Like you, Elle you're beautiful. Here's my gift for you." Mr. Jerry Smith said, handing her a box but not so small like her Mom. "Thank you, thank you so much, Dad, Mom. This is too much. I'm so so blessed to have you both as my parents." Elle said, almost crying as she stood up and hugged them. "Don't cry, my dear. You deserve everything because you are always a good, loving and responsible daughter to us." Mr. Jerry Smith replied. He hugged her too. "I'm now 18!" Elle blurted out. "And enjoy the life of being 18 in the right way, Elle." Mrs. Bess Smith. "Yes, Mom." Elle replied. "Okay, your Mom and I will go downstairs to entertain the visitors and be ready, sweetie." Mr. Jerry Smith said. Elle smilingly nodded. She was left with the two women who fixed her hair and face. They made some retouch before Elle got out of the room. She went downstairs with the help of her assistants. She just stood behind the closed entrance door of their mansion, waited to be called outside.
