Mrs. Bess Smith prepared delicious food together with Nanny Ann. Elle was the one who volunteered to prepare fruit salad. Her Mom dictated her what to do. She followed the instructions completely and perfectly. "It's delicious, sweetie!" Mrs. Bess Smith said as she tasted it. "Really, Mom? Did I make it perfect?" Elle asked curiously. "Perfectly made, Elle!" Mrs. Bess Smith replied with a smile. She cooked the Christmas ham sumptuously. The dumplings were done, followed by spaghetti and roasted chicken and plenty of rice. The Chocolate Moist Cake baked by her Mom was done already. One more hour left before hitting Christmas Eve. Andrew and his Dad would come over to celebrate with the Smith's family. Mr. Jerry Smith invited them. Elle went upstairs after she was done helping her Mom in the kitchen. She took a shower. Afterwards, she opened her closet and chose the newly knee-length plain, pink A-line dress she bought four days ago in ForMe Shop. She paired it with her flat cream sandals. She put a light lipstick, combed her almost dried hair. She put a smile in front of the mirror and went downstairs. When she reached downstairs, the time was ten minutes to start Christmas Eve. "You look so lovely, my dear!" Mrs. Bess Smith said, smiling. The Smith's seated in the couch. "Merry Christmas, everyone!" Mr. William Jones greeted them as soon as he and Andrew entered the mansion after Nanny Ann opened it. "Merry Christmas, Will, Andrew!" Mr. Jerry Smith greeted back with a smile. "Merry Christmas, Babe!" Andrew greeted her, smiling. He gave her the gift he brought with him. "Thank you, Babe!" Elle smiled as she accepted it. She put it under the giant Christmas tree, where she put all the gifts she bought. All the gifts of the family were there. "So, let's start the celebration now." Mrs. Bess Smith announced. It was time for them to start the Christmas Eve celebration together. They all went inside the dining room. "Wow, these look good delicious, Bess!" Mr. William Jones smiled as he saw the different cuisines on the table. "Thank you, Will!" "Bess is the best cook!" Mr Jerry Smith cut in. "Thank you, you two! And Elle is perfect too, she was the one who prepared the fruit salad!" Mrs. Bess Smith blurted out with a genuine smile. Andrew looked at her with amazement. Elle smiled shyly. "Let's taste that one!" Mr William Jones said, smiling at Elle. "Let's start this meal with a prayer. Elle, please lead the prayer." Mr. Jerry Smith commanded her. Elle obeyed her Dad. She gave a most sincerely grateful prayer. "Amen." They said in chorus. Each of them started to get the food. Elle could see Andrew that he was excited to taste her fruit salad. He got it first. Elle smiled at him. "This is delicious!" Andrew suddenly said after first taste. "Now, Elle is ready to be a wife for my only son!" Mr. William Jones announced, smiling. Elle and Andrew looked at each other and laughed. "I'm not joking, Andrew." Mr. William Jones said. "I know that, Dad." Andrew grinned. "It's already December 25th now. And next month will be their engagement party." Mr. William Jones announced. Andrew and Elle got surprised. "Yes, Elle, my sweetie, your Uncle William is right. By January 28th, you two will be engaged." Mr. Jerry Smith said seriously. Mrs. Bess Smith nodded with a smile. Their parents already talked about it a week before Christmas Eve celebration. So by the time the celebration came, they would announce it to them clearly. They were so assertive in conveying them the message. "I'm excited!" Andrew said happily. "This is already a Christmas gift for us, right Elle?" Andrew asked, smiling broadly. "A big Christmas gift, Drew." Elle grinned. "It's Christmas time so let's enjoy all the foods here!" Elle said, smiling sweetly. They ate together happily and this was the another moment to be treasured in Elle's life. With Andrew beside her on a Christmas Eve and the big news for both of them, she could not ask for more. After hearing the news revealed by his Dad, Andrew wanted to make love with Elle but they were in front of the dining table. He controlled it and thought to himself with a smile, "Later. This young woman beside me is beautifully sexy inside out! I'm so lucky!" "What's that smile for, Andrew?" Mr. William Jones noticed it. "It's just that after hearing the big news, Dad, I'm so so lucky to be engaged with Elle, a young woman who has beauty and brain with beautiful soul!" Andrew said happily. Elle was surprised he said that in front of everyone. She covered her face but her smile could not hide. "I'm happy to hear that, Andrew!" Mr. Jerry Smith said, smiling broadly at them. "Don't forget to take care and love each other truthfully and your studies must be a top priority." Mrs. Bess Smith said, smiling at them. "Yes, Mom!" Elle replied, smiling back. They finished their food well and happy. "All foods are delicious, Bess! I miss Dana's cook!" Mr. William Jones said, smiling. "When is she coming home?" Mrs. Bess Smith asked. "After four years." Mr William Jones replied. Their parents went out of the dining room and headed toward the living room. Elle and Andrew stayed there for awhile. They were alone together. He came closer to her. He held her chin so she could look at him and said, "You are so beautiful, Babe!" Andrew kissed her passionately. It was a very long passionate kiss that made Elle breathless. "Let's make love tonight, Babe." Andrew said softly to her ears and they headed outside.
