For the whole holiday season, Andrew took care of Elle even if her parents hired a private nurse. He stayed in the Smith's mansion to fully look after her, aside from Nanny Ann who knew her very well, it was his turn who really knew Elle since their whole lives together were spent mostly in school. He was very patient in handling Elle that time. He showed her his love and care. Throughout her therapies, he was very hands on. He wanted Elle to get back to her normal life, a happy go lucky but responsible young lady. The suspect of the accident was drunk that time. He already paid the damages of the accident after he ran away from it. The Police Officers did their best to find him. Elle's parents felt relieved. To heal Elle was their focus now. They felt glad that she cooperated to every therapy given to her and thanked Andrew for guiding her all the time. Slowly but surely, they saw the smile on her face though little by little she could remember from her past and she talked a lot compared to the past week. On her sleep at night, her past life would appear mostly in her dreams. She woke up suddenly, felt breathless, and Andrew was there to comfort her, gave her water to drink. He would ask her about it. Elle just stared on the terrace door of her room while telling him every detail of her dream. By the next morning, Andrew would tell it to her parents and to the therapist. That was the good sign that she could remember every detail of her dream. And she had undergone Cognitive Therapy. She felt comfortable and relaxed because everyone in the house took care of her fully with love and care. "Can we go to the Music Room, Andrew?" Elle asked after she drank her milk on a breakfast morning. She was calm and smiling shyly at him. "Yes, we can, Babe!" Andrew replied. He smiled at her. "Ever since we're at the hospital, you used to call me Babe," Elle stood up. "Because he is your boyfriend, sweetie." Mr. Jerry Smith said, smiling at her. "Really Dad? I cannot remember anything about that. I only remember that accident, you and Mom. I can't remember all! It's so hard to remember everything!" Elle got disappointed. She sat down again and held her head. "Don't worry sweetie, soon enough you will remember everything. Just be patient. We are all here for you. Right Andrew?" Mrs. Bess Smith said, looking at him. "Yes, Aunt Bess! We are all here for Elle." Andrew agreed, smiling at Elle. She looked at him intently and stood up. She only remembered her parents because they kept appearing in her dreams at night. But not enough to remember everything. " Thank you, Dad, Mom. I'll just go upstairs now." Elle said, smiling. "Okay sweetie, enjoy your Wednesday. In awhile your Mom and I will go to the office." Mr Jerry Smith said. Elle just nodded.
She and Andrew went upstairs toward the Music Room after she fixed herself in her room. Again, Andrew played her favorite singer, Michelle Branch. She just sat on the couch, rested herself while looking at the window, the snow streamed down. It was a cold Wednesday morning. She felt Andrew's presence on her side so closed to her. She looked at him and there, he bent down to kiss her pouted lips. It had been so long time they never shared kisses with each other because of her condition. Andrew kept on kissing her, waited for her to kiss him back and so she did. The kiss was so long, gentle and a passionate one. That was that time. Only a kiss. Andrew did not want to make her shock that they had done something more before the accident happened. "Babe?" Elle blurted out. "You remember me now, Babe?" Andrew asked happily. "Not yet. I'm sorry I cannot remember everything yet." Elle said, covering her face in dismay. She looked at him and suddenly asked, "Did we do sex before?" "Yes, we did, Babe." Andrew said seriously. "Where?" Elle asked. "In your room, in my room, in my car, after you turned eighteen." Andrew replied, smiling. "Really? Can we do it again? I don't remember." Elle said, smiling at him. "Are you sure you want to do it? I want it but I don't want to rush you because of what you are feeling this time. That's why I just kissed you." Andrew said. "Yes, I want to feel how it likes, what if by that thing I can remember about us. You already told me our memories together when we're younger up to know, everything about our past lives but still it's so difficult for me to remember them." Elle said. Andrew kissed her passionately as his reply. She kissed him back. "Not here. In your room, Babe." Andrew said. He turned off the stereo, held Elle's hand and they went out of the Music Room together.
