As I was walking home from Nathan's house my phone started to ring. It was Peter. I wonder what he wants?
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hay Zack, are you almost home?"
"Why?"
"I just need your advice on something."
"Really you want my advice? PFFT!"
"Ya your probably right. I should ask Nathan what he thinks." He said about to hang up.
"Why Nathan I'm way better than him." I said.
"Kidding. Hey, how fast can you get here?"
"Not sure. Maybe half an hour."
"Ok, actually can you stop by the store for me and get a few things?"
"Ya sure because I love shopping." I said sarcastically.
"Come on it's just a few things."
"Fine, text me the list." I said and hung up the phone. As I pivoted my self to face the direction of the super market my phone buzzed. This must be the list.
What! This list is insanely long. What the heck cuz I thought it was a few things. UGH!! Why must he do this to me. At least the super market isn't that far away. It's only a few blocks.
I wonder if that new girl likes it here. California must have been a great place to grow up in. I've always wanted to go. I've always wanted to go everywhere to be exact. But Hollywood would be amazing. She's so lucky. Ohh wait. Imagine moving from California to a place like this. It probably looks awful to her. It's probably so small and boring. Not to mention a lot of good looking people live in California, she probably had a ton of people asking her out all the time. Why would she go out with me of all people. Dang! Why'd I have to fall for the girl I definitely won't get. My luck is just terrible. At least I'm here already. This might take my mind of things.
After 30 minuets
Finally got everything. What can you even do with this stuff. It looks awful to eat. Ohh man, I hope I have enough money for all this. He better pay me back. I'm almost broke as it is.
"Ohh whats this?" I said looking at a chocolate bar on the counter. It looks delicious. Should I get this? I really need to watch my weight though for soccer try outs. Um... I'd better not it's better in the long run if that chocolate bar stayed where it is.
"Thank you ma'am ." I said grabbing the groceries I just bought and walking out of the store. I don't wanna walk home. I would use my speed but Peter said I can't when I'm out in the open. I should ask Peter if he could drive me. Ya I'll do that.
RING RING
"Hello?" He said
"Hey Pete I got all the stuff. Can you come pick me up?"
"Haha, no"
"What? Why not?"
"I had you get them for a reason. I'm busy right now."
"What are you doing?"
"You'll find out when you get home."
He hung up. I hate it when he hangs up on me. I like hanging up. I should calm down before I get home. After all Jessie is coming over. And she's super nice. I hope it works out with her and Peter. There perfect for each other. Shall I say it was love at first sight. I thought with a small laugh. I'm glad the one Peter loves is a good person. It would suck if she was mean. I don't want a mean person in my life. It's probably exhausting.
Man it's been a while. And my feet hurt, but I still have a while to go. I'm calling Peter again.
RING RING
"Yup?"
"Come pick me up now my feet are swollen and I have lines on my hands from the bags." I said
"Hehe!"
"Come on it's not funny. It's cutting of the circulation to my fingers. I don't want to lose them."
"Haha! You'll be fine you big baby."
"Come on Peter this sucks."
"... ok where are you?"
I immediately smiled. "I'm on Main Street. Come and get me."
"..."
"Peter you ok?" I asked.
"..."
"Peter?"
What the heck he hung up on me. Is he getting me? Should I wait here or keep going. That jerk. I hate decisions.
I guess I'll start walking again.
