Like every normal girl, Andrea had a picture of her dream man, a prince charming with a generous heart and brave mind, who will love her. But some things that life plans for us are easier to deal with than others. Sometimes the calm is an indication of a storm.

Destiny always has another plan...One day she meets someone.He became her greatest enemy. He was the Crown Prince Leo Smith of City K. He wanted his estate to grow. When a thing goes stagnant there is no purpose of it, growth and change were his two keywords.

Even though the kings have lost the rights to rule, they still have the power and money. And according to him those two things can make or break you. This drive to thrive and take over the world has made him selfish, ruthless, manipulative and conniving. He had everything a modern day prince should have looks, money, power and a tag of a bachelor.

These two very different people are destined to meet. One of them is coal unpolished, unpretentious and ordinary. Another is a Kohinoor among the diamonds polished, sparkling and exceptional. Who will affect whom in what way is yet to be seen. This is their story of love and every other emotion that comes with it. What will happen when coal is brought into diamonds by fate?

Can You See My Heart

Andrea still could not believe that she had been selected for an internship at Smith's corporation. Another thing that she could not digest was the popularity of her new boss. After he had left the campus all she could hear was Prince Leo this, Prince Leo that. Girls were going crazy over his physique, features, and status, and guys were discussing his dashing personality. It was really annoying for Andrea.


'How dare he tell me in that superior tone to dress appropriately? Who the hell did he think he is? Next time he said something like that I will answer him back. He was acting as if he was my future husband,' Andrea thought. She did not like the way her heart races when he was around. She will maintain her distance from him.


There another royal family member that had entered in Andrea's life was Princess Becca. She was in the class of the twins and apparently they did not like her at all. 


As Andrea's leg was swollen, she wasn't able to the driver so they took a cab cause the twins doesn't know how to drive. When they were on the way to their home the twins told Andrea that, they can't be friends with someone who disrespected their older sister. And she was too much of a snob for them to tolerate.


Andrea could say Becca as a rich spoiled brat but her new boss was too much.


Andrea heard her phone rang when she going to get ready. She looked at the number and smiled. She picked up the phone, without greetings she directly said,


"you finally remembered me?" Andrea complained.


"Why are you getting mad?" Damien who was at the other line asked, "by the way how was your interview yesterday and which company did you get selected into?"


Andrea thought about telling Damien about the accident but then decided against it as it will simply worry him, "Smith's corporation" she told him excitedly. She had skipped the whole Leo and accident part as Damien would get upset over it. She will have to somehow threaten the twins to keep their mouth shut and not to tell Damien about it.


"Oh! Who are you working under?" Damien asked.


"The Head Architect of Smith's corporation, Mr. Jason… I can't believe that I will be working directly under him. I did get a little nervous in the beginning but I answered his question so well that he hired me right away." Andrea told him excitedly.


"So you did not meet your new boss today? I heard the prince was at the campus and it was quite the commotion," Damien asked her.


It annoyed Andrea that Damien was asking so many questions about Leo but she let it stride. She can't afford to make mistakes in annoyance, "Yeah he was, he came to drop a princess off to the campus. She's in twins' class and they already started hate her. According to them, she is too much of a snob for them to be tolerable." Andrea explained.


That put Damien's mind to rest. "Okay, I just wanted to tell you that I will not be here for a month starting today. I am on my way home. There is some business there that needs my immediate attention, so you can't call me there, I will call you whenever I have a chance, Okay."


"One whole month…Damien what is so urgent that you have to go for that long" Andrea asked.


"Just some old stuff Andrea. Don't worry about it, just concentrate on your studies and internship and if you have time between those two then maybe you will miss me a little." Damien replied.


"Of course I will miss you. You take care of yourself okay," Andrea replied.


"Yeah, you too, now I have to go. I will call you when I get there okay." Damien told her that and hung up on her.


Feeling blue Andrea got ready for college. She had a lot of rescheduling to do as she will be interning now. She just hoped to god that everything will go fine today at the orientation. She had to go to Smith's corporation in the afternoon just after her last class.
