A kiss every bite

Leo hated being in bed and wasting his time in idle. The shows on the TV were annoying him. He looked at the clock. From the time he returned home, it was 3 hours, which meant over 2 hours, he spent just lying there. He figured that he could probably get some work done through his laptop.

Leo just got a foot on the floor, when the door flung open with an irate Andrea standing there. It appeared she was monitoring his every move and as soon as he got out of bed; she came to know.

"Princess, is there a hidden camera here?" he asked whilst looking around the room.

"No! Why?"

"Because you knew the instant I got up!"

"Will Price Leo Smith... I am your wife and I know you better than you know yourself." He raised his eye-brows at her as she gestured for him to get back in bed.

Just then, Andrea's private servant Anna came to Andrea and gave her a little bell. Andrea passed it to Leo, "If you need anything , ring the bell."

Andrea and Anna walked out the door when Leo rang the bell. Both turned to go back into the room. Andrea entered first.

Leo smiled at her, "Can I have a kiss?"

On hearing the request from Leo, Anna suppressed a smile and sprinted away.

"What!! NO!" Andrea refused. She turned to walk away when he rang the bell once more. "Hmmm... Princess, can I please have a kiss?"

"No, Leo."

"But I said 'please'."

"...and I said no." And return to leave again, but once more Leo rang the bell.

Andrea's face was already turning red because of her blushing. She waited for Leo to make his request but was left disappointed when he said, "Can you please pass me my laptop? Rather than waste my time, I should probably get some work done."

She gave him the laptop and tried to leave before he noticed her reddened cheeks. Unfortunately, Leo already saw it and smirked broadly. "Ooo, this will be so much fun," he whispered to himself as she shut the door on her way out.

Few hours later, Andrea came to Leo with a bowl of something in her hand.

"Enough work now Leo, put that away and have this."

"What is that?" he asked while trying to peep into the bowl.

"It's a creme of spinach," she announced proudly.

Leo gave a disgusted expression. "I don't eat that."

"Well, you have to, it's good for you." Andrea put the bowl in front of him and gestured for him to eat.

Leo looked at the thickened green liquid and shook his head. "No way am i eating that! It's not looking good and also it smells bad."

"Leo, stop acting like a baby. Spinach is high in iron and you need iron in your body after losing so much blood."

"Well, in that case Princess, you need it more than I do. You donated blood to me ... You have it too!"

Andrea took a deep breath and looked at her stubborn husband. "What will it take for you to eat this?"

"Actually Princess, nothing in this world can make me eat it! How about a kiss?" Leo raised an eye-brow at her. He moved the laptop to the other side of the bed and made Andrea sit in front of him. "Go on, Princess, I'm listening."

"Nothing to go on about! I will kiss you if you eat it!"

Leo thought about it for a moment. Then he shook his head. "Nope!!! not worth it!"

It shocked Andrea that Leo refused a kiss. She put her hands on her waist and gave in, "Fine! Tell me what you want!!"

Leo gave a naughty grin. "One kiss every bite!"

Andrea was quiet and in deep thought. Leo snapped her out of it. "Princess, this offer expires in 3 seconds, 1... 2..."

"Okay, you win,"

"It's a deal!" He gave her a victorious smile and opened his mouth. She put in a spoonful, as per the deal she gave him a peck on the lips thereafter.

After another bit, another kiss. After the third bite, Leo pulled Andrea for a passionate kiss. Andrea, however, backed out fast, "Leo, that spinach tastes, Yucky!"

Leo was pleased so as Andrea didn't allow him to eat further, although he was disappointed that the kissing session ended.

She went to the kitchen and came back after a while. She noticed Leo was on the laptop again. "What is so important, Leo, that you are ignoring having a rest."

Leo turned the laptop towards her and she was amazed with what she saw. "I was getting bored, so I thought of designing a nursery for our future baby."

There was a cot and a pram, a rocking horse in the corner, a little ward-robe for the babi's clothes and the room with teddy-bear wallpaper.

Andrea's eyes filled with tears of happiness. "Leo, it's beautiful." After Sunshine's birth, Andrea always thought to have a baby. She was happy to see that Leo was also thinking the same.

"So, you approve?" Leo asked.

"Of-course I do! I love it. But..."

"But what? Why is it in pink?

"Andrea, don't you know pink is for girls."

"I know that but we will have a baby boy."

"No, we are having a baby girl... a little princess."

Andrea blushed hearing that. "What if we have a baby boy... Then?"

"Then we will return it."

"Ohoo, how on the earth this can be possible."

"... Because I already thought of a name for our daughter." He whispered the name he chose to Andrea. She smiled. The name was perfect.
