The oasis city

"...we're going to the city tomorrow morning."

After she said that I was so excited, for some reason I was actually calm about going to a completely new place full of strange creatures and people. I guess I should be a little bit scared about going but I guess I'm not as long as I'm with Vivian. I really can't believe it though, I have a rare and powerful magic called "magix" and it's just so weird. Well I guess that can help he with my mission of defeating the next evil. Hmmm I wonder who it is. "Vivian what do you think the next evil will look like?" I asked her politely.

"Well maybe they would have dark magic and maybe be like a scorpion person at least that's the version of scary in the oasis dimension." She said as we walked to the house to make some dinner. My mouth was wide open, THERE ARE SCORPION PEOPLE HERE!!! Why were there scorpion people,scorpions are so creepy and small like spiders. WAIT, what if there are spider people! Vivian started to laugh when she saw how worried and scared I was and then said," I'm kidding, there aren't scorpion people in this dimension. The only animals here are: rabbits, turtles, dogs, cats, mermaids, birds and gerbils." I sighed in relief. I was so happy that there were only those type of things here. We got into the house and I sat down at the table as Vivian went to the kitchen she then came over to me and crossed her arms. "Come on," she said "I'm not going to do all the cooking in this house, I'm the one who owns it so you gotta repay me by helping around the house."

"Umm you sound like an angry wife yelling at her partner. Plus aren't I the one who's going to defeat the great evil or someone like that." I said as she just stood there. She then proceeded to pull me out of my chair and into the kitchen. We started to cook and I'm glad she actually pulled me out of that chair because it was really fun and we bonded a lot. I really appreciated the fact that she helped me learn and didn't yell at me for "not knowing how to do this before at my age" like how my sister does. In the end we made a delicious shepherds pie and an apple crumble. They were both amazing and the apple crumble (that was her family recipe) was amazing, I then asked her," so what exactly do you do here in the oasis dimension."

"In what way do you mean"what do I do"?"

"Well like what do you do for a living like what is you job."

"Oh you mean that, I'm a singer at a local pub in the city."my mouth dropped I mean I know that she is an increasingly singer but how good do you have to be to get a mini mansion like this. Vivian proceeded to ask me," why do you look so surprised, am I not a good singer, can you not imagine me doing that sort of

job. "

I panicked and said in a mess of words," no no I didn't mean that...well it's a little hard to... well not in any offensive way but like... ugh. What I'm typing to say here is that I just didn't think a job like that would pay enough for a marvellous house like this."

She then nodded and answered," ohh that's why you were looking like that, oh I inherited this mini mansion from my late grandmother. She was a famous writer here in the enchanted oasis and her books sold really well so when she died I got this place." That was actually really cool to have a best selling author grandmother. "So umm you gonna ask what my job is?" Is asked really awkwardly

She then laughed,"oh, I already know what you do for your work, you work at you flower business with your sister Juliet and poppy."

"Oh ok...WAIT WHAT!"

"Hey don't seem so surprised how else would I have known about you and that you were the one." This was honestly quite creepy and shocking to find out that I was being watch. Well I guess all those a times I felt like someone was watching me I guess it wasn't just in my head and it was ,my crush, Vivian.

After a few hours of talking we decided it was best to go to sleep as we had a big day ahead of us. In the morning the sun was shining and it felt quite but nice. I still couldn't believe that I was now a bunny girl, but it did seem like a sensible idea because we didn't know how the inhabitance of this world would react to a human. After we ate we immediately set out on our journey to reach the oasis city. Walking through the forest in a spring morning here was really romantic: the sun rising and then the river flowing with the dawning breeze. We walked for at least another two miles and eventually reached the city. It was like nothing I had ever seen, the cities were much like earths but in a way it was also completely different. There were people with tails, ears from the top of there heads and the felines were smiling with their fangs. As we strolled through I saw many odd shops such as: abra cababra or the honeybee hotel. It was amazing but we however stopped at a place called madam roses witch craft, it was an odd name but then again this is an odd place. We walked in only for me to see someone I wish I had never.
