CHAPTER II: The Hidden Heiress

Present

Malaya's POV

I know I'm going to die now. My baby is so powerful that my power were absorbed by her.

"My Malaya stay strong, don't leave me" Crisostomo said

"You know it's my time" I said as he grabbed my hand

"I haven't confess to you my feelings yet" he said crying for the first time. Seing me like this is such a pain. I know his feelings for me the whole time but I treat him as a brother I can't accept his love because up until now what I really love was Hulio

"I know that already" I said

"I know and I know that no one can remove Hulio there even if I tried" he sadly whispered

"I l-love you t-too cri-criso-sost-tomo you know th-that, b-but not as a l-lover b-but more than a f-fr-friend, I s-see you a-as my brother" I said with my last breath

"N-No! Don't leave me!" Crisostomo cried

"Malaya!" Hulio shouts as he enter the small nipa hut where I was dying.

"Don't even try to go near her!" Crisostomo said threatening Hulio

"Just kill me even if that takes seing malaya the last time" Hulio said crying

"I-It's o-o-okay Crisostomo" I said as hulio reached my hand.

"Malaya, I'm sorry please let me explain, don't die" hulio plead. I nodded

"I love you but I also love my sister, they threatened me that they will kill her if I don't say where were you, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry" Hulio cried while pleading

"Fo-Forgiven" I said as I slowly closed my eyes and never waking up ever again.

Third Person's POV

"No!" "N-No!" Crisostomo and Hulio cried

As Rosamie runs Lady Malaya's older brother Julian followed her.

"Where do you think you're going with that baby!" Julian said

"Hiding her from them and you!" Rosamie shouts while still running.

Julian caught rosamie and tried to get the baby but rosamie jumps away from julian and put baby mahalia in front of a big wooden door. It was a church's door she knock thrice and the door opens she insisted to give the baby to a priest but then julia run towards rosamie and caught her "Protect hairess mahalia from them!" Rosamie shouts she knew she can't come to the church because she's a vampire and also julian but baby mahalia can coz she's haven't drink any human blood.

The priest closes the door and run to the aisle as the two vampires started fighting.

"You know you can't beat me!" Julian shouts

And scatch rosamie's face using his sharp claws.

"Yes I know but you can't kill hairess mahalia as long as she's with the priest and she's in the church" Rosamie shouts and slams julian away.

Julian furiously punch rosamie till death. "She's not a heiress! A heiress should be full blooded vampire and not half blooded with our enemy!" Julian removed rosamie's heart from her body. He walks closer to the church hut the closer he gets the painful he felt.

The priest saw what happened to rosamie. "Lord God please protect us from the evil" the priest prayed He saw Julian trying to enter the chruch but he can't get close to the door

"As long as your in the church no one can hurt you" The priest said to baby Mahalia "I will be your guardian, I will teach you everything good with fear to God you won't do bad"

As the baby keeps growing the priest started asking himself if baby Malaya's fast growing are natural or is she also a devil.

5 months later

Baby Mahalia's is now walking and she's blabbing words, unbelievable but true. After few months that the priest became baby Mahalia's guardian he noticed the differences between baby mahalia to other babies in the orphanage that the priest visited. Mahalia's christening was coming soon but the priest is worried she might die because of the holy water. He tested the Holy water to baby mahalia but nothing happened so the priest decided to continue baby mahalia's christening.

8 Years later

Mahalia was now 8 years old and she lived as a normal kid playing with the other orphans.

Father Damaso (Priest) POV

"Another Blessed day thank you Lord!" I praised while walking on the orphanage's grounds. What's the commotions? I asked to myself.

Malaya runs fast I think she saw four boys fighting three of them were taller then the one is more shorter and chubby. The tall boy pushes the smaller boy

"Hahaha fat boy come on stand up" The tall boy said

"Awww are you just gonna cry and call your mommy?" the other one said teasing the small boy

"But hey did she left you? coz she doesn't want a short fat boy like you! hahahahah" the other boy said and they all laugh

"My mom didn't leave me! she had no choice!" the small boy cried, but the boys kicked him

"Hey! Stop right there!" Mahalia shouts

"Aww isn't this the girl who were left on the church? How brave" the boy mocked

"Stop leave him alone" Mahalia tried threatening them

"Awww what would you do if we won't leave him alone? Cry and report to Father Damaso that we bullied him?" the other boy said and they laughed. I heard it clear, but I'm curious how mahalia will solve this, so I let her

"No, I will punish you with my own hands" Mahalia said. What? did I heard it clear? but before I could react--

"Aww I'm scared" the tall boy teased mahalia and pushes her but mahalia caught his hands and pulled him then punches him in the face!

The tall boy collapsed after being punched by Mahalia

"Mahalia!" I shout

"What did you do!?" the other boys panicked "Go get him to the clinic" I said and they grab both arms of the tall boy and run to the clinic

"Are you okay?" Mahalia asked to the small boy while helping him get up

"I am fine thank you" the boy response

"Mahalia, what you did was wrong" I started

"You shouldn't punish someone just because they were wrong and you also shouldn't punish someone by punching them to their face" I lectured "Only God can punish someone's wrong behavior and also God always forgives those who are repenting for their sins" I stated

"But they aren't repenting for what they've done to him" mahalia replied

"Should you answer me like that?" I asked

"No Father, I'm sorry" she said

"Okay, you should go and apologize to them, If God can forgive you should too" I lectured again

"Bu--" I cutted her "No more buts" I said

"Hmmph Fine" Mahalia said "But they should also make an apology to him! because they hurt him!" Mahalia said

"Okay okay, Shall we go to the clinic?" I asked

"Yes Father" Mahalia said

I couldn't easily forget what just happened an 8 year old girl punched a older boy and got collapsed becaused of her punch. Mahalia really is different but I will make sure that she won't be the same as those devils who came with mahalia 8 years ago.

Clinic

"Are you Juan?" I said

"Yes Father" the small boy response

"Juan are you really okay? If you have questions that you can't answer on your own, you can come and talk to me" I insist as I analyzed Juan's emotion. I remember now what happened to him. He wasn't abandoned by her drug addict mother, the police arrested his mother because of drugs and also tried to kill the child. The custody of the children was given to this orphanage while waiting for someone to adopt him and the other children.

"You should all go to your bed and rest" I sadi and got out of the clinic.
