Chapter 025 Future

Continuing our journey (with Boros) we arrived to another stone platform with a weird looking bird. It has a very large pudgy-looking bird with a ghastly humanoid face, resembling a bald male monster with sharp teeth, a purple tongue, a crooked nose, a furrowed brow and forehead and slanted pupil-less red eyes that always have an angry and ferocious expression. Its body mostly resembles that of a large round pudgy bird with dark brown feathers, a big puffy cone-shaped tail and extremely large magenta claws with eight digits on each and large black talons. Looking its head I saw its information.

As I was looking at it, the Rubanda takes the initiative to attack.

*Swooosh*

It flew on the top of my head and used is claws to grab my head. I barely dodge the attack by crouching down.

'Its faster than I thought.' (Satou)

It didn't stop attacking even all its attack where evaded. As I was focusing my attention towards the enemy, I saw a green gas leaking from its mouth. Before I knew it Rubanda's kick came faster and my movements become slower. As I tried to dodge all it's attack with the help of Observation Haki. I anticipated one of its attacks and tried to counter it but my punch hit an after image. Due to this I became defensive in the battle, as the battle goes on the more injury I received as my Armament Haki is becoming weaker. Rubanda never gave me a chance to counter attack; whenever I attacked all I hit is an after image. Due to its poison gas that my movements and response became slower, I tried to ask help from Boros but Boros got hit by poison gas and now hallucinating not responding to my call. I barely dodge its claws and gain some distance.

*Pshhhh*

I used Shigan to compress air and aimed at the Rubanda which is flying in front of me. But all I hit is an after image. I keep on firing Shigan but all of them are useless as Rubanda dodged them all. Getting impatient I used Soru to get behind it and punch it with Tekai and Armament haki but it was dodged again. The Rubanda attacked me from behind cutting my right arm. As I blink I felt a déjà vu and rolled away from where I stand. I saw the Rubanda attacked my from behind but misses due to my rolling. I saw it again attacked me from my left leaving a deep wound on my shoulder. As I blinked I saw that my arm is still alright. I used Armament Haki on my hands and blocked the attack. I felt excited for my Observation Haki improved that I can see a glimpse of the future. I dodged it's entire attacked and counter if with Rankyakou injuring its wing. A Flightless Rubanda is a fish on a chopping board, so I finished it with knocking hitting its spine making it paralyzed. I heard a nostalgic sound.
