Final

My eyes flutter open. Today, is going to be the happiest day of my life. I'm so excited, but also very nervous.

I start imagining what Liam with look like later today, and it sends my heart racing. I can't believe today's the day!

"Violet!" I hear a woman's voice from the other side of the door. "Are you awake?"

"Yeah, I just woke up!" I yell to them. "You can come in." Lindsey comes walking in, smiling. She's carrying a tray of food. And sets it down on the table.

"You ready for your big day?" She asks me, as I get out of bed.

"Yeah, but I still don't see why we had to sleep in separate beds last night." I tell her.

"It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!" Lindsey yells.

"Isn't that trash already? I mean he saw me years ago, and everyday for the past 6 months." I snicker.

"HA HA. Very funny, you know the rules." Lindsey says. "Now eat!" She commands. I pick up my tray of food, and sit back down on the bed. I scarf down my food, and Lindsey looks at me worriedly.

"What?" I ask, feeling self-couscous.

"I'm pregnant, and you ate faster than me!" Lindsey points out. "Are you really that nervous?" She asks, sitting down next to me.

"No, I'm just hungry" I tell her.

"Sure you are" she scoffs. "Now go get in the bath, and I'll prepare your wedding dress!"

"Yes ma'am!" I stand up and salute to her. She glares at my joke.

"Just go!" She shouts at me, pushing me into the bathroom. I giggle, and take a nice warm, long bath. It's starting to calm my nerves, as I take long breaths.

When I get out of the bathtub, I wrap a towel around my body, and dry my hair. I walk out of the bathroom, and Lindsey immediately starts yelling at me again.

"Now, get dressed!" She orders. I put on my wedding dress. It's and off the shoulder dress, that has has a sweetheart neckline. It's laced with an intricate design throughout the entire dress.

"You look lovely!" Lindsey smiles. "Now, your hair!" She squeals. To be honest she sounds a lot more in to this than I am, and it's my wedding.

She starts styling my hair, leaving the too long bangs in my eyes. I attempt to blow them out of my face, but they just float on back to wear they were before. Lindsey notices this, and starts to pull them back into a clip.

I suddenly remember my birthday, and how Liam told me he likes my bangs long, and in my face. That moment warms my heart so much. I want to be with him forever.

"Stop, keep the bangs how they are." I tell Lindsey.

"But they're in your face." She argues, as she looks up from my hair to look at me in the mirror. Her face looks panicked, as she drops my bangs. "Why are you crying?!"

"Huh?" I look at myself in the mirror to see, a single tear stream down my face. I must be so happy from that memory that I started crying. I smile at the fond memory. "It's okay, I was thinking about a good memory. I guess I love the memory so much I started crying."

"Oh. Well, good thing we haven't put makeup on yet! But I will need to move you bangs out of the way to do your eyes." She informed me. I nod my head, and she moves my bangs out of my face again.

Lindsey does my eyeliner, and mascara. Then, she puts on a light layer of lilac eyeshadow. She adds a bit of blush, because she insisted, even though I told her I didn't need it. The final touch was some lip gloss.

I stand up, and put on lacy, white high heels, to match my dress. I stand up, and look in the mirror.

As I stare at myself, I feel my stomach tie itself in knots. What if I mess up? This is supposed to be the greatest day of my life, and I'm terrified I'm going to mess it up somehow.

I take nice, slow breaths to calm myself again. But this time the feeling won't go away. I need to see Liam. I have to see him, I'm scared...and I want this day to be perfect. Why, oh why, did my stomach choose now to churn.

"Lindsey, I have to see Liam.." I tell her. She looks at me like I'm the craziest person alive.

"What are talking about? The wedding starts in five minutes! You'll see him at the alter."

"No! I need to see him, now!" I panic. My breathing gets faster, I find myself trying hard not to hyperventilate.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" Lindsey sits down next to me. "Calm down! Breath! Take deep, slow breaths. Breath with me. In...out...in...out!" Lindsey yells, trying to calm me down.

There's a knock on the door, and Lindsey opens it slightly, so that she can see who it is.

"You're supposed to be at the alter!" I hear Lindsey. My heart stops. Is Liam here? I stand up.

"Yeah, but I heard you two freaking out, so came to check on you." Liam justifies. My heart speeds up. He is here. I step towards the door, Lindsey widens her eyes.

"Since your here, might as well make use of you! Close you eyes and stand there." She commands.

"What? Why?" Liam asks, confused.

"Just do it! Violet needs to see you, but you can't see her before the wedding!" Lindsey explains.

"Alright. Vivi, are you okay?" I hear Liam ask, as Lindsey opens the door wider, so that I can see him. I start to tear up, as I calm down. He's in a suit, and looks so handsome. "Vivi?" Liam asks for me worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm perfect." I say shakily. My breath trembles as I take another slow breath. I can do this. I have nothing to worry about, because I love him so much. As long I can see him at the rest of the ceremony, I will be fine.

"Hey! I just finished your makeup don't start crying now!" Lindsey yells at me.

"I can't help it! It's how I relieve stress!" I yell back.

"First you blame it on your memory, now on stress! Girl, I think you're just crying for no reason." Lindsey comments.

"Hey, if I remember correctly, a certain bride couldn't stop crying tears of joy at her wedding." Liam chimes in.

"I don't know who you're talking about, but certainly have never met them." Lindsey denies.

"Well, I have to go..." Liam starts. "Vivi, you're going to be great. I love you, and can't wait to see how beautiful you look." Liam turns around. "Don't leave me waiting too long!" He calls to me, as he leaves.

"I won't!" I shout back.

"Alright, are you ready to head down?" Lindsey asks me. I nod my head, and we walk down stairs. I hear the music playing, so I know the ceremony has started. Lindsey walks ahead of me and leads Loretta and Autumn. Zack walks up to me and takes my arm.

"You scared?" He whispers to me before we start walking.

"Yes. I started hyperventilating this morning." I whisper back in all honesty. He stifles a chuckle. My steps fall into pace with the music.

We get into the hall we're getting married in, and I look up to see Liam, this time with his eyes open. His smile broadens, as he sees me. I started smile as soon as I laid eyes on his face.

I don't have worries with Liam. I can count on him, and know for a fact, I will never regret this decision. He is my true love. I'm so excited to start my newest journey with the ones I love.

THE END!
