Attack in Direlight
Using the ship that Chris used in coming to the island. Frieza used the ship to carry his abyss demons to different lands.
He brought Vaglaath with 100 abyss soldiers and 1000 abyss crawlers. Their target, a city fortress of the Brightsword Empire 300 kilometers west of the ruins of Pearlwater City.
After thinking about it, Frieza chooses to target the fortress because compared to Pearlwater City. This fortress has three mage towers.
And the owners of these mage towers at least have the strength of a rank A. This is a great chance to show the abilities of his abyss demons.
Adding to the mage towers, this fortress is well equipped and the soldiers here are all well trained. They are true warriors that fight for their empire.
Riding his hoverpod, Frieza glance at Vaglaath who was riding a dark horse with gleaming red eyes and said, "I will only be responsible for destroying their defense. As for the others, I will leave it to you guys"
"Don't worry my lord, we abyss demons are much powerful than humans. You can rest assured that victory will be very easy" a confident voice came out of Vaglaath's mouth.
As an abyss demon whose body has been tempered in the abyss for countless of years. Their strength is not something that an ordinary human weapon can damage. Adding to the fact that abyss demon can't feel any tiredness to their body. They clearly held an advantage.
After a couple of hours of traveling, Frieza can finally see the Direlight Fortress.
The Direlight Fortress was built at the top of a hill. Three majestic mage towers peek out from the sky releasing a bright and wonderful light. Its elegance is backed up by the hill which has helped shape the city fortress on what it is today.
Hard and strong stones formed a tall and sturdy wall to defend the city from any enemy invasions.
Just by looking at the Direlight Fortress, Frieza can tell its huge difference compared to Pearlwater City.
"Now that I'm looking at this fortress a little bit closer. Doesn't this look quite...big?" because when Frieza saw this fortress before, there was a great distance between them. But now looking at it closely, it seems that he brought too little of his army.
'Well if anything happens I just join the fun' he then glances at the three mage towers and he could feel that there is something in it.
"My lord, if we plan to attack this fortress that three mage towers will give us huge trouble. Mage towers created in a fortress like this all end up having the ability to create a huge shield around the city. Making enemy entry impossible" looking at the mage towers, Vaglaath said.
"So, should I destroy those towers?" Frieza asked.
"That won't be necessary my lord" Vaglaath then continues, "Troubling you in dealing with those towers will only dirty your hands. I already have a plan on how to enter the city. I just asked my lord to release a little bit of his power to distract the enemy attention"
"Oh" an amused expression appeared on Frieza's face hearing that Vaglaath has a plan. "Let me hear it"

"What happened?" a loud shout sounded inside the commander's base and a tall man with robust build came out. He was wearing the same set of white armor with a sword emblem on the right part of the chest.
"Commander Bayard! Enemy attack! A single demon was spotted flying near the fortress!" a soldier reported hastily.
"A single demon? I didn't expect that I still underestimate the confidence of the demon race. Dare to attack my territory alone. Let's go, I want to see what this demon can do"
Picking up his weapon at the side, Commander Bayard who was a rank A warrior walks to meet the said demon.
When Commander Bayard saw the figure floating in the air, a sneer appeared on his face. "Demon! I don't know if you're really brave or just really dumb. But since you've already come. Then leave your life here!"
After his words ended, the three mage towers release a bright light that suddenly turns into a golden dome enclosing the whole fortress with Frieza inside.
"Ohohohoho! You humans really have some interesting abilities" Frieza approaches the golden light around and taps it a little creating huge ripples in it, "But do you really think that sealing the entire fortress you is a good move. Then all I can say is you're really dumb"
"Hmph! Demon is that your last words?!" suddenly, three figures arrive beside Commander Bayard.
"Mages!" someone exclaimed.
"Three masters! This is the demon who arrogantly trespass and attack our territory" seeing the arrival of the three master mages of the three mage towers. Commander Bayard greeted them with a huge smile on his face.
These three mages were the master of the three mage towers in the fortress. With their help, they have repelled many enemies planning to invade the empire.

"You three must be the masters of the three towers, right? So you've all come here to join the fun" Frieza speaks with a nonchalant attitude, "I am so happy to know that you all come here to give me a warm welcome"
Blue veins popped up from everyone's forehead and Fuego who has a fiery temper was already irritated and said, "Then I will give you the warm welcome that you mentioned!"
"Demon! Burn in hell!"
"Crimson Inferno!"
A huge magic circle appeared below Frieza's feet and a huge column of blazing fire erupted from it. Frieza who didn't have any chance to move was burning inside.
"Ahhhh!" Frieza cried in pain while his body was getting burned.
Hearing the painful cry of the demon, Fuego has a proud look on his face and said arrogantly, "That's it, burn and face the consequences of your actions"
"Master Fuego is really great. Burning the demon alive, so ruthless" Commander Bayard admiringly said.
"Killing a nobody is very easy!" Fuego reply.
At this time, Frieza was still crying in pain after several minutes and Obin noticed something, "Why is this demon still shouting? He should already be dead moments ago with this kind of spell"
"Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha! It is really amusing watching your expression so proud of yourself!" Frieza who should be burned alive suddenly laughs loudly. With a wave of his hands, the spell around him crumbles revealing him.
"W...what? How is this possible?" Fuego who saw the demon destroy his spell was shocked. He couldn't believe that his spell has no effect at the demon at all. Not even a single wound was on the demon's body.
"Is that all you can do? If it is, then it was such a let down" sighing in disappointment, Frieza slowly shakes his head.
Seeing that the demon was openly mocking him and his abilities, "Fuego's eyes turned red in anger and shouted, " Don't underestimate me! Demon!"

"What?!"
Everyone was suddenly startled by the huge explosions. Their faces turned pale when they look behind them.
The eyes of the three mages were wide and their pupils shrunk because of what they witness.
The ground where the three towers were standing has now sunk down. And from its side, countless black creatures crawl out.
Pfft!
Blood sprays out from the mouth of the three mages who were masters of the three towers.
The mage towers were connected to their soul. So when the three towers slowly fell down crumbling, they receive a backlash. And their souls were injured.
"Then humans, please entertain me more!"
