Shi Weiwei's attitude took a completely 180 degree turn. Her eyes shone as she exclaimed, "You're from THE YING FAMILY!!!!! The daughter of Ying Mingxi and Maria Laura!?!?!? Really!?!?!?"
Ying Xuan scratched her head and did not know how to reply. Xuan was sure that if it were Xi in her place, she would definitely know how to deal with this situation.
It was so because Ying Xuan was quite anti-social and usually kept to herself.
Shi Weiwei went on, "It must be nice right? Coming from such a great family....."
Ying Xuan was about to type something on her phone when Ying Xi said from behind her, "Yeah it is. Not that she would know anything about it, she's just a shut in who is even afraid to talk to people. Am I right, my dear sister?"
Ying Xuan glared at her sister before she began typing. Ying Xi cut in, "Don't bother. The girls just sent me here to ask you if you wanted to come. We're going to see Yishei and Mumu's room. But now I guess it will be better if you don't tag along. You'll only tarnish my reputation."
Saying this, Ying Xi went back to the girls, and out of the room with them.
Ying Xuan stood in silence as Weiwei spoke, "I can't believe she would talk to her own sister like that. Me and my siblings never fight with each other."
Ying Xuan's eyes lit up and she typed, 'You have siblings? As in, plural?"
Shi Weiwei laughed, "I guess you rich people are not all alike."
She could tell that Xuan did not want to talk about Ying Xi, and was more than happy to change the topic.
The two girls sat on Weiwei's bed and talked for a long time. Well, Weiwei talked. Xuan was much more of a curious listener, only answering questions Shi Weiwei asked.
Ying Xuan found out that Weiwei was quite a simple girl. She came from a small city and had one older sister and a younger brother and sister. She had always been fascinated by the entertainment industry but did not want to act, as she had heard rumours and gossips about the stars.
So, Weiwei decided to be a writer. She was here to learn how to write scripts and stuff. In fact, Weiwei had been working on something, but it was just the first draft and she was pretty embarrassed when Xuan asked if she could read it.
Weiwei loved to talk about her family. Seemed like she really loved them. As she heard Shi Weiwei talk, Ying Xuan began to wonder what would it have been like to grow up in such a warm family. Though their family always pretended to be a loving one, it was a perfect mess in reality.
Her father, Ying Mingxi. Well, Xuan never really understood the man. She had never been close to him and he also seemed to like Xi better than her.
Her mother, Maria Laura. She loved both of her kids equally, but Maria was really career minded and Xuan had been told that she did not want to have kids in the first place. It was only due to the Ying family pressure that she did. Even then, Maria had always chosen her career and was rarely home.
And Ying Xi, well, not much to say there.
