Back at home

After I drove home with Zeno next to me, I had an emergency pack meeting.

I sat on the Alpha chair in the counseling room, giving death stares at everyone in the room since because of them, I have to wait longer to be with my mate.

"A-alpha, the rogues attacked again. Killed a mother and her child. The pack is concerned about their safety and their family members safety."

I sigh. Great, now I can't be mad anymore. And it looks like I won't be coming home tonight if we can't think of a solution.

"Cody, call my mate. Tell him I'll be back late today."

"Yes, Alpha." He replied.

"What are our options, the ones that will have minimum casualties?" I asked.

An older guy, the captain of the warriors started speaking up. "I say we attack them. The only thing we have been doing is running away with our tail between our legs if we wipe out the enemy like we used to, then we wouldn't be in this situation!"

Not being able to hold in my anger, I stand up and shouted in my Alpha voice. "SILENCE, IF WE DID GO OUT AND KILL OUR ENEMY LIKE WE USED TO, HOW MANY OF OUR PEOPLE THAT I SWORE ON MY LIFE TO PROTECT, DIE WITH THIS DAMN COUNSEL HIDING IN LIKE A BUNCH OF BABIES SUCKING THEIR THUMBS." Everyone was silent. "When I get back, you all better come up with a solution that will save our people, instead of killing them!"

I slammed the door on the way out and left to my mansion. *On the phone with Cody* 📞 Cody call me when you get back to the meeting and those *ssholes come up with a solution. I'll be in my mansion.📞 Hung up. Argh. I'm so p*ssed!

"Hey, are you okay Cody?" I said worrying when he got off the phone. "Good luck." Was all he said when he stormed out of the living room. "Goodluck" for what?

Bam!

The door flung up when I saw my mate looking p*ssed. Oh... that's what he meant... I'm gonna kill Cody...

Damien came towards me and put his head on my shoulder. I felt him relax a little bit. "What happened in the pack meeting? Nothing, just an old hag rubbing salt in old wounds."

Damien picked me up with no effort and went into his room. "Damien... I didn't finish my homework... Let me down."

"Okay." He dropped me on the bed and started moving his hands up my shirt. "D-Damien my homework!" I tried pushing him away. "The apple." Was all he said. I knew I wouldn't be able to stop him so I drowned in pleasure.

Next Morning

"You shouldn't go to school today." Da, in whispered in my ear. "Why?" I asked still not recalling what happened yesterday night. "Did you hit yourself on the headboard last night?" He said and flicked my forehead. I blushed recalling the memories from yesterday. He was rough and wouldn't stop until he was satisfied, unlike the first time when he was gentle and slow. I glared at Damien who was holding my back. "What actually happened yesterday to make you so emotional?" I asked half curious and half annoyed. "The rogues attacked our pack again yesterday. Killed a woman and her child." "Oh... I'm sorry." I hug his arm tighter. "It's okay, just don't want to sacrifice our people." "Hmm... I got it! Lead them in an ambush." "Hmm?" "I mean we have the valley if you can somehow get them to go there and bury them under rocks. Problem solved right?" "Maybe that might work. I'll bring it up in the pack meeting... And I still think you shouldn't go to school." I turned over to see him wearing a teasing smile. I growled at him. Then off to school, pain in every move I make. Damn mate!
