♠ Zenos Point of view♠
One word that's describing my body and emotions. Pain. My whole body is on fire. My brain feels as if it's a time bomb, about to explode any minute.
My eyes refuse to open, like they were glued shut. Faint noises could be heard, but it sounded like they were miles away from me.
My nose is stuffed and it feels like ears are clogged. Why am I like this? Where was I before ending like this? What happened to me?
Wait... Who... am I....? What was my name again? Alex? Don? I... I don't remember... my head hurts... I can't think right now...
"His brains are showing wave links, call the Alpha!"
Why is there an alpha here? Who's the Alpha? Was I kidnapped? Is that why I'm all this pain? How can I escape if I can't even open my eyes?!
Panic filled my mind and body, as I fought to at least open my eyes to see who this Alpha kidnapper is.
"We need to calm him down, he's panicking! Get the sedatives!"
After a few seconds, a cold hand grabbed my arm and pierced my skin with something sharp. This just added to my pain.
The second time I woke up, I felt as if the surging pain and burning in my body cooled down a little. It was almost unbearable like earlier, but I'm glad it settled down a little.
Instead of the cold and death feeling hand strangling my arm, a warm and safe feeling hand was holding mine tightly.
I still couldn't open my eyes, but I felt that I had more control over my body than I previously did.
I felt a familiar warmth and scent that just engulfed my entire being. It's a feeling that made the pain more bearable.
Due to this secure feeling, I fell asleep again.
The third time I woke up, my eyes fluttered open immediately. The bright light blinded my eyes, as everything around me, was a white spinning mess.
"....no... nos..... Ze... Zenos....!" My eyes focused on a man leaning above me. Dark black hair and green eyes. He had heavy bags under his beautiful gems.
Worry, concern, anger, guilt, all shown on his face. Who is this man? And who's the person he's calling to?
Is he my kidnapper? Or did he rescue me? Was he the one holding my hand?
When questions invaded my mind, I forgot about the handsome man. "Hey, babe, why aren't you saying anything? Should I call the doctor?" Confusion now formed on his face, he looked like he was panicking.
Did he call me babe? Are we lovers? I stared at the man, taking in his reaction to make sure they were genuine. He was.
"Zenos, you're scaring me, I'm getting the doctor." The man left the room, leaving me all alone.
The room was all white, with no furniture besides the bed and the bedside table. The sun was shining brightly into the room, as a gentle breeze moved the curtains.
The handsome man came back into the room almost a minute later. A middle-aged man followed him.
The man sat beside my bed, kneeling on the ground, gently patting my head as the older man looked at his charts.
The doctor explained what was supposedly wrong with me, as the man listened intently, to every single word.
"Any questions?" The man shook his head and looked relieved.
"Who's Zenos? And who are you? Are we familiar?"
