Gaimont's past

"What did you do to him?"

The moment he saw that Ajax was in pain, the barbarian immediately put the inheritance sword in his hand across Gaimont's neck and asked in a serious tone.

"I am just checking whether he is worthy enough to form a contract with him. If you kill him, he will die along with me. So, you can remove your sword from my neck,"

There was not even a shred of fear on Gaimont's face even when Darbaudr placed his sword across his neck as he simply asked him to lower his weapon.

"No, only when my young master opens his eyes, I will lower my weapon," Darbaudr slightly pressed the sword as it slowly cut the small scales on the neck of Gaimont and held the sword in that place and he was ready to cut the head if something went wrong.

"As you wish,"

Gaimont didn't bother with Darbaudr's actions as he closed his eyes and entered his spirit consciousness.
