Old voice comes and goes

'Huh? You finally woke up?'

Ajax was surprised by the sudden appearance of the old voice in his head as it's been a while since he last heard that voice.

'Yes. I woke up and what is your problem in becoming his disciple?'

The old voice scoffed at Ajax and continued saying, 'He is powerful and reaching his end. As long as you become his disciple, you will get that old man's inheritance.'

'Moreover, the old man didn't mind whether you already have a master or not. Nevertheless, you don't have a master, to begin with.'

The old voice urged him to accept the old man as his disciple.

'I might get some good cultivation resources if I become his master; however, as long as I work hard, I will get those cultivation resources. For that, do I really need to accept some as my master?'

Ajax replied to the old voice with a question.

'I know you get items out of thin air; however, do you really think that it will last forever?'
