Update: Why I was gone for nearly two weeks

So... this honestly was not my plan to be inactive for nearly two weeks, funny enough I only intended to take a break for two days as the last few chapter sucked up all my free time for a week.

The break was to spend time doing other things I like, as I did mention this novel being more casual, updating when I have time or in the mood to write.

So not wanting to be fed up with writing I wanted a small break, that was when all the other things in my life came in.

The day after the break I was asked to help get construction materials with my father to rebuild the gutter at our home, unfortunately most of the day was spent as most of the stores we went to did not have the material remotely close to the size my father needed.

When we finally got them it was already night leaving no time or energy to write.

Next we ended up going out towards a lake to have a nice fishing trip only to find out that the lake is only for residents, combined with the rain coming in the afternoon we had no time to go anywhere else leaving me in a foul mood that day.

Again I went with my father to dump the old gutter materials as well as getting a new passport taking most of the day, and the next day we again had to get more materials having to spend the entire day again to find the right ones.

After that everything would have been fine however my seasonal problem kicked in, every spring to summer I end up getting nosebleeds.

Now I know what you guys are thinking that nosebleeds are nothing much since you only lose a little blood in the process and is annoying at best.

Unfortunately the reason I get nosebleeds often is because the nasal cavity on one side of my nose is broken, since I was jumping on the bed when I was a child and broke my nose on the way.

Having not seen a doctor on time to see if my nose received any permanent damage my nose became stuck like that needing surgery to fix it, although I never knew I needed surgery to fix it until a few months ago having lived with it for more than a decade.

To give an idea on how bad they can get this one time in middle school I ended up getting a nosebleed out of the blue, excusing myself from the classroom to go to the nurse.

Since I had so much blood on me I needed my parents to give me a change of clothes, when I got the clothes entering the bathroom I saw just how much blood I lost.

On one side of my pants it was completely covered in bleed, not a light amount but drenched and still wet with blood.

Somehow the blood dripped down my sleeves and body drenching my pants in blood, anyone looking at it would think I was stabbed in the leg and that was the reason I went to the nurse.

To be honest even my family is amazed at how I was fine after losing so much blood as this didn't happen once a month, it would happen several days in a row sometimes multiple times in the day losing large amount of blood.

It was only once I got to highschool I got nosebleeds less frequently much to my relieve, unfortunately I still get them sometimes and they are always big ones.

This time the nosebleed started 2 in the morning and lasted for a solid 45 minutes as my family was hearing me blow out blood every few seconds, trying to get the blood clot out of my nose to no success except a empty trash bin becoming full by the end of it.

Now a days when I lose blood I act as though I am drugged up and feel dizzy for most of the day, this happened for two days with the second being the day I got the blood clot out filling up an entire paper towel sheet.

For the two days after I had time to write, but the medication I am on for personal reasons causes drowsiness and I have been taking them at night for that reason.

Unfortunately since I kept forgetting for several days due to everything that was happening taking them close to midnight when I remember to take them, this causes the drowsiness from the pills to affect me during the day time instead somehow.

For me personally I find it impossible to go to sleep during the day, even a short nap is impossible.

However on the second day I ended falling asleep without realizing it for an hour straight until my sister woke me up after spending a good amount of time tying to wake me up.

So yeah I did write a bit of the chapter on those days, but in my drowsy state I could only write a little bit.

Looking back on what I wrote two days later being yesterday I literally facepalmed at what I wrote, as it would have caused me to give up on the novel quickly as well as ruin it.

Lesson learned never write when you are tired mentally as you will write complete nonsense otherwise, jokes aside the last event that kept me from writing was doing some shopping the next day for supplies around the house and cooking seeing as things are opening up again.

As for yesterday I didn't write as I was putting everything I was thinking for the novel the past week and a half for the direction of my story.

It was only today that I managed to rewrite what I wrote only keeping some parts and writing the other 80% today, sorry if this seems like a rant or needless excuses but this is what happened during those days.

Thankfully with this time I had I have an idea on how to go about the current volume right towards the ending of it to start the new kingdom arc.

Just so you guys know I don't have the intention to drop and will be writing when I have the time to do so, finally sorry for not writing this sooner but this is essentially everything that happened.
