It's been more than an entire week and Lillia still saw no sign of the tiny soldier. It seems that Cassidy might be ignoring her after the uh.. Incident. This though seemed to bother the Sargeant. The bags under her eyes indicated that she wasn't getting much sleep. Which definitely wasn't a good thing
Finally then, she saw her. The blonde like always got her meal and went outside to go eat, this time Lillia stood up, holding her wooden bowl of food, following the woman. Things couldn't go one like this, they had to talk it out, they just had to.
Cassidy felt embarrassed, ashamed and confused. She thought that the brunette either hated her or at least was disgusted in what she did. She sat on the dry, hard, ground, her legs positioned criss-crossed, eating the porridge that for some reason left a rather unpleasant after-taste in her mouth. Then again she was in the army, not some fancy restaurant. So what did you expect?
The girl looked up to see none other than the person she'd been trying to avoid these past days, sitting down next to her. Oh dear God... Wait why wasn't she yelling at her? This confused Cassidy
"So.. That kiss was really something huh?" the woman stated, flashing a toothy grin.
Well this was surprising to the woman "I-don't talk about that" she huffed, redirecting her gaze on the ground
"I'm not mad or anything-it was quite enjoyable actually. I just wanna know why are you so ashamed, princess?" she asked, giving the blonde a questioning look
This time the girl didn't yell, she had grown use to the nickname, maybe even growing slightly fond of it. " Because people say it's wrong and I'm just..scared" Cassidy said softly
The Lillia's gaze softened "Hey, look at me" she ordered, and surprisingly Cassidy for once obeyed an order, looking at the muscular woman's pretty eyes. "It's not wrong and you're not alone" she grabbed her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze "I'm here for you"
How much these words meant to Cassidy was unable to be expressed in words, the woman seemed a bit nervous, her cheeks turned a small tint of red. This time though she remained facing Lillia "I uh-Can I kiss you?"
"Well it's not like you haven't done it before" the girl teased
"Oh shut it" she grumbled, crossing her arms, letting out a huff
Lillia couldn't help but laugh, finding this amusing. She lifted up Cassidy's chin, leaning in. And like that she kissed her, although it was rather a short and innocent kiss it still had the ability to turn the blonde into a blushing mess
"Is that good enough an answer for you, princess?" she teased
"Call me princess again and I'll shove your face in the dirt" Cassidy threatened, pulling the woman in for yet another kiss
