Stats

Zed narrowed his eyes and analyzed the usefulness of those gifts. In Dark Souls, you have to be observant of everything, even if you are still not in Dark Souls.

I know only a few gifts here are useful for me in my adventure in Lordran. And the Divine Martial Arts is one of them. With martial arts skills on my hands, I can battle any weaker undead with ease but that will only work if they don't have any kind of protecting gear. So no, it won't help me in the long run.

Geass, I know that. In the anime, the geass was explained to give a person only a single skill, so no, it won't help me in the long run. I need something that can be useful in any kind of situations.

Divine Weapon, it can help deal with any kind of hollows or undead easily at the earlier stage but that's only that, it can not help me that much against the gods in Dark Souls. Not only that, but I also bet my starting stats can't even make me hold that Divine Weapon. So no, it won't help me.

Ah, Divine Magic, it can be useful in any situations but that only depends on what spell I would get. It literally says Random, what if I get something useless? Like a Divine Spell that can only be use for cuddles. I've read too many Japanese novels, so I know everything is possible. So no, it won't help me.

Resources! Now that is something I need but unfortunately, I really don't. I am going to start as an undead, why would I need foods and shelters? I will always revive at the bonfire, so no.

And what the fuck is a Harem Of Beautiful Women!? It only says 'Beautiful' not 'Strong'! We will all die the moment I step out of my cell, totally useless!

Pet Dragon? Are you serious? I'm too smart to be fooled by something like that! I know It's going to start as an egg, there is a reason why it's called a 'Pet Dragon'.

Heavenly Summon, that certainly piqued my interest but unfortunately, I won't need that. There are many summonses in Lordran, heck I can even use a Geass to hypnotize a powerful creature under my bidding. Not totally useless but it's weak.

50 Stat Points, now that is something I would really want. But I can probably accumulate as many as 50 Stat Points by the time reach Level 10. Like Heavenly Summon, it is not totally useless but I can always reach that much Stat Points someday.

And now the Sharingan, a perfect tool said by Madara. It can only be as good as it's wielder and as long as the wielder is skilled, he/she will be able to beat any opponents, at least that's how Madara thinks. Sharingan can sometimes be a burden, look at what happened to Sasuke, he became a rabid dog when Itachi massacred his whole clan. But I can't deny that the Sharingan is very useful for me.

The Sharingan has a very powerful eyesight. As long as the Sharingan is at its full power, I can see my opponent's movement speed at slow-motion, useful for Dark Souls. And not only that, but it also provides very powerful abilities, like Susanno when I reach the Ultimate stage. But the curse of hatred is something I cannot bear, so I will prevent it from happening as it could endanger my life.

In Lordran I could die at any moment and I know that from my experience in Dark Souls. I really don't want to do this but welp, I'll just enjoy it.

"I choose Sharingan."

The writings in the Transparent Screen changed and it said.

__

Very Well, you have chosen your gift. Now go along to the world of Dark Souls. I shall give you missions from time to time but that will only happen if you meet certain requirements.

All you have to do to access your stats, just say 'Status'. And remember this, do not just trust anyone in Lordran but I'm pretty sure you already know this.

Your Sharingan will be special unlike the rest of the Uchiha Clan. Your Sharingan will only consume Stamina as you activate it, so put a lot of stat points in endurance, you'll be needing it. Genjutsu can also be activated as long as your stamina can hold it.

Ta Ta.

Zed suddenly blacked out and after that, his body dispersed in white light. In the endless sea of darkness, this kind of light is very, very rare. The white light disappeared in just mere seconds and then, there was nothing.

(Northern Undead Asylum)

Inside the bottom of the asylum, you can see a cell, and inside it, is what seems like a naked corpse. It had black hair its eyes closed as it slumbered. Its skin decayed.

This is Zed Black, who is now an undead.

Zed's eyes twitched a little before opening slowly. Instead of his normal blue eyes, this time, his eyes are completely blue but with 1 tomoe in each pupils.

He looked around his cell and frowned a little. He saw his cell was with nothing but cracked stones. There was nothing else here. He stood up and walked towards the door of the cell, there was keyhole on the left side of it before he suddenly noticed something.

Why is my vision so clear? Oh yeah, my gift is the Sharingan. Hmm, I should probably deactivate it before I run out of stamina.

Wait...

How do I deactivate my Sharingan?

This time, Zed did not panic and instead closed his eyes a little before imagining his Sharingan fading away. And it worked.

When he opened his eyes, it turned back to normal.

Zed sighed in relief.

But suddenly, behind him, something fell off the ceilings. He turned around as quickly as possible to look up onto the ceilings. There was a square hole up in the ceilings and you can see an armored knight looking at him and the knight nodded his head at him and left.

Zed looks back on the ground and saw a corpse of a hollow and on its waist was a key.

Zed slowly walks towards it and he carefully picks up the key attached to the hollow.

"He could've just dropped the key instead of a corpse, " Zed muttered. I was quite terrified of the corpse, I mean, have you ever saw a corpse this bad in your entire life? No right? The corpse is practically decayed! To the point that it has no goddamn eyes!

After picking up the key, he turned around again and he slightly walks towards the door before he pushed the key on the keyhole and it clicked.

As I was about to open the door, the game screen appeared in front of me.

__

Of course, you can't start Dark Souls without choosing your class and I certainly did not forget about it, nope not at all.

__

Zed smiled wryly towards the game when he read it.

__

Here is the list of classes you can choose from.

1.Warrior.

2.Thief.

3.Wanderer.

4.Sorcerer.

5.Magician.

6.Knight.

7.Hunter.

8.Bandit.

9.Pyromancer.

10.Cleric.

11. Deprived.

Pick your class, I'll be patient don't worry.

__

Zed carefully analyzed the usefulness of each class. Warrior is definitely a good option but choosing it will mean that he can't use magic spells at the beginning.

After analyzing the classes's usefulness for a while, he finally chose Pyromancer. The reason? He has the Sharingan, so it will probably be compatible with him.

__

Very well, Pyromancer, it is.

You shall receive the following:

Hand Axe

Cracked Round Shield

Pyromancy Flame

Tattered Cloth Hood

Tattered Cloth Robe

Tattered Cloth Manchette

Heavy Boots

The following items have arrived in your inventory, just say 'Inventory' to see your inventory box.

Because you chose pyromancy, I will say this to you.

Always fear the flame.

__

What was that about? I remember Quelana saying that! Hmm, I shall heed the game's warning.

Did the game say inventory?

"Inventory, " Zed said out loud before his inventory appeared in front of him. There he saw the items he received from the game but oddly, the flame was not there.

"Huh? Where is my pyromancy flame?" Zed asked the game.

__

Check your status, it should be there.

__

Zed did as he was told.

"Status." Another screen appeared on the left side of the inventory screen. On that screen, it showed his stats.
