A demons past

Asmodeus pulled the carriage of supplies back through the trees to the road. Sylvia saw a the outline of someone approaching as Asmodeus came into view. Asmodeus stoped the carriage right beside Sylvia "those bandits can't mess with anyone anymore" he said. She looked at him she was going to ask about it but she could guess what he had did. The look of fear in her eyes that was previously there had dimmed as Asmodeus lifted her off the ground. Asmodeus led Sylvia to the back of the carriage Sylvia looked at the crates of stolen treasures and eyes lit up. Sylvia hopped in the back and pulled out a silver and gold bow an quiver and held it to her chest. "This is the treasure of my clan it was untrusted to me by the family elder" Sylvia said staring at the bow with glimmering eyes.

Asmodeus looked at Sylvia with a bit of pity as he said " take it you'll need it." Sylvia bowed her head and said "you saved my life I am eternally indebted to you." Asmodeus nodded his head head and said "ok, then let's go with this stuff we can get some good gear." He went around to the front of the carriage and started pulling in the direction of the village Sylvia pointed had to. Asmodeus pulled the carriage till night then made camp. Asmodeus was making a camp fire "so Sylvia what kind of things can elf's do" he asked " oh uh we are really good at hunting, tracking, and healing magic" she responded. "If you don't mind Asmodeus, uh what race are you? you look a dark elf but I've never seen one that looks like you" Sylvia asked. Asmodeus looked at her and said "hmmm, I'm a demon variant a grey demon" he responded "a grey-demon?" Sylvia said confused. "Yeah, most demons are red but their is a rare type a grey demon; grey demons are stronger than normal demons and can evolve into a black demon, but there has only ever been one other black demon the demon king satan" Asmodeus explained.

Sylvia looked at Asmodeus with a face of pure confusion. "Wait so you're a demon, I thought demons were evil?" Sylvia asked. Asmodeus looked down and shook his head "so that's what they've been saying up here" he said looking back up. "look to understand I'll tell you the history of the demons; the story starts when god created the mortal worlds inhabitants the angel Lucifer saw their imperfections and spoke up and questioned god. God didn't like being questioned and saw this as a rebellion, so he banished Lucifer and those who sided with him to hell were they made their own race out of the damned souls of gods creations, which he called demons. Lucifers first creation and favorite son Satan the first black demon and demon king; These fallen angels were the first demons they created us to be better than the mortals. satan was very curious about the mortal world so he and a small group went to explore, but heaven saw this as an invasion and smited them causing the war. now Lucifer leads the demons" Asmodeus explained.

Sylvia was taken aback to learn about the true history of the demons. Sylvia stared at the camp fire as she pondered what Asmodeus just told her. She started to fall asleep *so demons never did anything* she started to think to herself before going to sleep. Sylvia slowly opened her eyes as she was shaken awake by Asmodeus she sat up but was blinded by the sun. "It's time to get up" Asmodeus told Sylvia as she stood up. "We should head into town soon" Asmodeus told Sylvia. Asmodeus helped Sylvia into the back of the carriage and started towards the village. Sylvia and Asmodeus talked more about demons and angels, as Asmodeus explained more about the personalities of both sides. out of nowhere when Asmodeus was talking "wow! angles are bigger jerks than I ever imagined" Sylvia blurted out unexpectedly. Asmodeus was shocked to here someone say that about angles he looked at her and laughed as he said "yes I suppose so."

Time seemed to fly by like a falcon as the to talked all the way to the village. The village walls seemed to as tall a mountain giant the way they towered them. Sylvia looked up at the huge gate "here it is the village of avlan" Sylvia said. "What's with the big walls seems like there compensating for something?" Asmodeus said annoyed. "IT'S TO PROTECT THE VILLAGE FROM MONSTER ATTACKS!" sylvia said angrily. "Never mind lets just go find an inn to stay" Asmodeus said still annoyed. Sylvia and Asmodeus entered the city to find humans and Demi-humans walking through the city together. "Wait I thought humans hated Demi-humans?" Asmodeus said confused.
