Chapter 5

Yuki P.O.V

When I open my eyes all that I see is a pitch black darkness and the fact that I'm all alone in this empty place. I'm wearing the plain white sundress that I used to wear when I still a toddler. There is no ground in sight but I'm walking on the cold surface of the darkness.

Even if this place is empty it strangely give calmest and comfort. I decide to search this place up while I'm walking around the place I walk ripple like I'm walking on the water giving a quite yet beautiful echo.

I continue to walk around alone for a while but see nothing but the darkness. I start to feel lonely, so I decide to sit down and remembering the good memory of the people I meet.

Tsu-nii is very good brother that everyone always wanted. People hardly ever see his good point because Tsu-nii is very shy. He care for me and always by my side when I'm sick.

Kyo-kun who is stoic person who dislike weak people like me but I know that he always by my side and always protect me from harm. He is kind yet he don't know how to express it.

Kuro-kun a boy who is easy to become worried yet he very blunt at what he said. He is making me happy because I'm used being treated like a frail glass. He is very prideful but also kind even if that kindness is hard to see. Now that I think his kindness is very similar with Kyo's.

Then there are Papa and Mama who always support me even they knew I won't live much longer. Thinking that beautiful memory make the darkness surrounding me crack and the place is filled with light making me close my eyes.

When I open my eyes I find myself sitting on a shrine with beautiful water garden surrounding it. Even if I don't see the bird I can hear their voice this place is very comfortable.

I play with my surrounding not notice that I have been here for a long time and one day I have visitor.

"You!?"

I look at my suddenly appear visitor who have white hair, pale skin, and wearing pair of round glasses

He still look at me like he just see a ghost. I giggle at his expression making him snap out his daze. I smile at him kindly "My name is Sawada Shirayuki. You can call me Yuki if you like."

He look a bit debate to tell his own name but he then look at me seriously "My name is Kawahira. Nice to meet you Shirayuki."

We then start a conversation together I'm glad that I finally not alone being alone is very lonely after all. Kawahira-san didn't tell me how he get here. I also don't pry anything he doesn't like.

So we just talk about what we usually do and that when I learn that he is a ramen lovers after hearing that he can eat ramen without getting bored for many years.

I manage to make him genuinely smile after we talk about our live. And for some reason he look at me very kindly like I'm a precious person to him. He look at me with a gaze of loving father that Papa use to give me.

Then suddenly a bell ring out of no where cutting our civil conversation. Kawahira-san then stand up "I have to go it seem the time I go home."

"That pity I want to talk some more." I pout. He then smile at me gently while stroking my head. "Maybe sometimes okay." I give him a satisfied nod.

He then look like remembering something. He took a white pacifier and give it to me. Before I can ask why he give me this he already vanishing, but before he completely gone he said something to me "Oh! Shirayuki promise me that you won't tell anyone who gave it to you!".

I only reply with a single nod and the last thing I see is that he is smiling very happy. So I make it as another necklace and keep it inside my dress as a reminder of meeting him.

I still here for a while until I have my second guest when I just walking casually to my garden. I saw someone under the sakura tree.

"This place is beautiful. Isn't that right." She look at me with a kind smile making me so happy. "Yeah!" I skipping my way to her having a feeling that maybe I won't alone anymore.

"So, how long you have stay here?" She ask me with that beautiful smile.

I honestly answer her question seeing that she is trustworthy person. "My name is Sawada Shirayuki. What's your name?"

"Nice to meet you then my name is Aria." We then continue to talk casually like what I did to Kawahira-san but Aria-nee is more open then Kawahira-san.

We laugh when we told each other funny stories. She even told me that she is a Mafia boss with a warmth family that care for each other. Hearing her story make my view about fighting chance a bit.

"You know I also don't like fighting like you, but as a boss I need to protect my family. So, If I have to fight to protect them then I will." She said it with a serious face along with unwavering one.

I can't answer that because my daily live is more peaceful. She just pat my head and said to me that when the time come I can chose what I think is the best for everyone.

"Aria-nee what is that pacifier? Is it something precious to you?" She look a bit sad making me feel guilty but she immediately make the situation better. "Yes this is a reminder of my late mother and the prove of familia boss."

"Is that so, Aria-nee really love your mother." Aria-nee look surprise but she smile while a tear fall from her eyes "Yeah, Yuki-chan is correct I love her even if I never meet her."

I smile happily at her and wait her to calm down before I can ask her about my pacifier that Kawahira-san just give to me.

"Aria-nee can I ask you something?"

"He..he.. you already asking something."

I took the pacifier out from my dress and Aria-nee look at it very terrified. "Where did you get it!?" She immediately snap and yell at me.

I don't want to broke my promise so I just tell her that a man just arrive before her and give it to me.

Aria-nee mumbled to herself with a serious face. Then she gave me a ring with white oval stone and wing around it. I have a feeling that this ring is some how connected to the white pacifier that I received from Kawahira-san.

I about to ask but she cut me "Yuki-chan you know I also have a daughter your age I think one day you will become a good friend and her name is Yuni by the way."

She change the topic again so I won't pry, but that bell rung again. Aria-nee body disappearing. "Yuki-chan why don't you wake up I think your family is worried?"

"I don't know how."

She smile and took my hand. She pull me into along in the sky. When I open my eyes what I see is white wall and the beeping voice of hospital machine.

I feel warmth beside me and I find Tsu-nii get older by a bit sleep on my side while holding my hand. He then awake still drowsy. He look at me surprise then his eyes full with tear that want to broke out.

"I'm home Tsu-nii."

"Welcome home Yu-chan." With that he cry while hugging me firmly like he afraid to lose me again. Ah, I made my dear people worried again.
