Ulta

The King sits upon his throne looking to his Court astronomer, Markus as he enters the room. Markus lays his gadgets and notes out on a table set up by the throne and then bows, "Your majesty." "Markus." The King waves his hand signaling for Markus to rise. "Will you be adding to your collection of new toys or-" "The girl." Markus goes silent and his smile fades. "Hm?" "The small blue alien girl, she seems to cause a lot of trouble. I want you to begin your observation on the four we currently have. Report back to me immediately." "Yes, of course sire." "And Markus."

Markus looks up to the King from his bow. "Is there any...news?" Markus looks over to the guard's and the King signals for the guards to leave. They close the door behind them leaving the King and Markus alone. "From my current readings and research." Markus lifts a scroll from the table, handing it to the king. "We have a couple years before the prophecy is to be fulfilled. The Galactic war will start within a couple years; we must be ready." The King nods. "The aliens that hold the power to erase a whole planet or even universe with the snap of their finger, we must find them."

Markus nods and grabs a small, blue, glowing Delilah. "These are nightblooms. They only glow at night and their extremely rare." The King looks surprised and smiles. "Quite beautiful, I have seen so many jewels and rare animals and plants, and yet never this one, why?" "Theres the catch, they only grow when the new Link is born." The King raises a brow and his smile fades into a serious frown. "The Link to the galaxy has already been reborn!? How!? When!? Why so soon!?" "It is quite alright your majesty. One of these flowers is to bloom on each and every planet signifying their birth. This flower here is about four years old, so the link should be but a child as for now."

"The Link is to be a great threat to the galactic war. For the sake of the galaxy, the link needs to be put down and destroyed, while they have yet to develop their powers. The child is said to be of royal blood and from one of the greatest planets. Thus, why we've been kidnapping the alien children." "Thank you for all your hard work, and... Markus, I expect to hear from you again soon." "Of course, your Grace." Markus bows and collects his items, finally taking his leave.

Markus and some guards make their way down to the dungeons. As he approaches the cell, he sees the small blue alien girl laying on a stone bed and a small green alien boy was wrapping a torn piece of clothing around her wound. "Is she alright?" Markus asked out of concern. The small green boy jumped seeing the strange man outside the cell. He immediately got defensive and protective over the unconscious, hurt girl seemingly guarding the bed. "I'm not here to hurt you. If you cooperate with me, I may actually be able to get you all out." Markus smiled. "What's your name, boy." The boy didn't seem to trust him and hesitated. "Onyx." Markus gave a small bow. "Markus."

One of the guards nudged the astronomer. "Don't treat these beasts with respect!" Markus frowned. "Are you stupid? Don't you dare disrespect the belongings of the King! You could be beheaded! Hanged! Set a fire!" The guard looked down with a serious and angry frown and slowly walked away. Onyx slowly walked to the door. "You said you could get us out." He said with a serious expression, not letting his guard down.

The girls walked over joining Onyx. "We want out, now." Ulta commanded. "It's going to be a slow process, but all you have to do is use all your strength and show us what you can do. The stronger you are, the more likely you are to be let out." Jeruae smirked. "I'm easily the strongest here, again, I'm eleven, so I am way stronger than these weaklings." Ulta frowned and looked at her. "Except Ulta, she is also... strong, just not as strong as me."

Markus pointed at the pink girl. "So... you're Ulta?" The girl perked up her lips, sassily looking him up and down and then nodding. "Well than Princess Ulta, if you would please follow me." A guard held a staff tightly in case any of the kids tried something as the cell keeper unlocked the door. Ulta hugged Jeruae and then followed the astronomer. "Go ahead and take off her shackles." "But sir- " "Now." The guards did as they were told. Ulta looked up at Markus in surprise. She followed him down the corridor and slowly faded from the other kid's views.

He led her through the castle and up a tower. At the top he opened a door, revealing a pink and bubbly room. It had a vanity and a big princess bed. Her eyes widened and looked up at the man. "Is this..." The man smiled and nodded. "Until we finalize your end results you will be staying here. If your results end well, you will be offered to stay here for good. There is no way to leave this planet, so this is the best we have to offer you. You see, each and every one of you was kidnapped and brought here to this humble planet. The knights rescued all of you, but the kidnappers got away. We have no idea how they got you guys from your planets to here, but we want to slowly ease each and every one of you to living comfortably the best we can." Ulta nodded in understanding. "I see. When and if you find the kidnappers, I assume we will all be sent home?" Markus nodded. "Until then Lady Ulta, your tests will begin tomorrow." He smiled at the girl, and she smiled back looking reassured. "Oh, before I forget." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a hair pink piece. It was shaped like a flower. He held it out to her. "I'm sure you have noticed that humans despise anyone different. This will help you blend in until you get to go home." She smiled and took it from his hand. She gently clipped her long hair into a beautiful bun and her hair faded into a blonde color and her light pink skin turned into a pale white tone. "Woah. Thank you, for everything you are doing for us." The man smiled and bowed. "My Lady." She curtsied her pink skirt that was attached to her pink suit and started to explore the pretty bedroom.

He closed the door and made his way down to the throne room. The king awaited him. "Markus." "She believed every word." "Good, begin on her first thing tomorrow." "Yes of course your highness."

First thing the next morning Markus headed up the tower to grab Ulta. "My Lady?" He said as he gently knocked on the door. He didn't hear anything. He gently knocked again. Upon no response he gently opened the door. "I'm coming in." Noone was there. "She's gone!" He began to search the room frantically for the girl. He found her space suit thrown on the floor. "Where...?" He headed down the stairs of the tower confused. Where could she have gone? That was until he heard some children outside. A small girl in a noble dress, with faire blonde hair and beautiful violet eyes, smirked as some boys her age fawned over her. "Oh yes, I know I'm gorgeous, in fact get down and beg to kiss my hand." Surprisingly the boys did as she said. Markus hurriedly headed for the front of the castle. "Lady Ulta!." The small eleven-year-old looked back. "Ah, Markus!" The boys just bowed, and her violet eyes were glowing. "My Lady if you would please..." He gently grabbed her hand and knelt down on one knee. "You must not use your abilities outside of the castle walls, for your own safety and for the sake of your safe return home." Her smirk faded as her eyes stopped glowing. The boys raised their heads confused as the small girl took Markus's hand and he walked her back into the palace and back to her room.

"So, you have an ability to control people?" Ulta looked up to him. "Only those captivated by my beauty, which of course, is everyone." The man chuckled at the confidence radiating from the small girl. "I see, you are quite the young lady." As they reached her room, he gently handed her a mini soldier's uniform along with a suit. It was different from the usual black uniform the knights wore. Hers was a bright pink with small white details. "This will be what you'll wear during testing, and if you pass, it will be used for training and, your school uniform." She smiled but frowned upon unfolding both of them and holding them up. "Where is it?" "I'm sorry?" "The skirt, I must have a skirt." She said angrily "I'm so sorry, My Lady. I'll have that fixed immediately. Will that be alright until the new one is prepared?" She frowned as he pointed to the suit and uniform, she was holding. "I guess so." She closed her door and changed. Markus waited outside the door.

She came out and the suit had her name printed on it. "Please follow me." He guided her to the castle training grounds where targets and some equipment were set up. "Alright so your species have beauty abilities. People fawn over you and therefor obey your every command?" She shook her head. "But they must find interest in me, like already find me beautiful." Markus called over some of the younger trainees. They were all small boys training to be knights. "Using every idea that comes to mind and every ability you possess, pass every test I throw at you today." She nodded in understanding.

He walked her over to a vanity. "So, we've heard that you're from a planet of beauty Ulta." "Indeed, we are the most beautiful creatures to ever exist." She said taking a seat and lifting her head with confidence, while flicking her hair back. "So do you have any beauty related abilities?" She smirked at his question. "Before we continue might I say your suit is quite...ugly." Markus raised a brow. "Is that so?" She put her small hand on the man's shoulder and his entire outfit slowly changed into a starry blue suit. His eyes widened impressed, and the guards chuckled. "What?" One of the trainees walked over. "Nice hair cut Markus." Markus reached up and felt his long orange locks, gone.

He looked to the mirror to see he had a cute, short hair cut. "Pickle me impressed, So you're a master of disguises?" "What!? No!? I am a master seamstress!" She yelled clearly insulted. "So... your suit?" "What of it?" "You could just add your own skirt?" "Well, yes, but you said you'd have it done for me, no need in me overusing my powers for something a maid could do." The small girl acted exhausted as she fanned herself. Markus chuckled. "What else can you do?" She clapped and her violet eyes started glowing as some of the boys immediately brought her over some drinks and started brushing her hair and offering her lotions and one even took off to buy her a gift. "Thank you, peasant, my throat was quite parched." She sat back in the chair of the vanity and took a sip of the drink. Markus raised an eyebrow and slowly wrote on a small scroll. "Well, what can you do in combat?" He needed to see if she would be useful in battle. "Send one of your guards towards me." Her eyes stop glowing as the boys look around confused and snapped out of their trances.

Markus signs for one of the boys to attack her. A boy comes hurling at her with a wood sword. She raises her hand, and the boy falls to his knees. "Huh?" It appeared as if nothing happened. Markus walks over to the boy and gently places his hand on the boy's head as he tried to bury his head into the ground. "Lucas. what is wrong?" The boy cried and looked up. "I'm so worthless!" He cried out loud holding his head and shouting truly looking like he was in despair.

Markus looked up confused. Ulta was giggling. "So intriguing, you can manipulate emotions?" Ulta shrugged. "On my planet that only works on animals." Markus started writing down on the scroll again. "Hm, what is that?" She asked with irritation in her voice. He smiled down at her curious but angry little face. "Notes." She nodded and hovered her fingers down to her thighs and then brought them up to her stomach. A skirt appeared attached to her suit. "Figured you would do that." Ulta smiled sassily but as her little stomach grumbled her face turned red and she frowned of embarrassment. What was meant to be a cool moment was ruined. "Theres no need to be embarrassed, everyone gets hungry." The sky was darkening, and it looked like it was going to storm. "You did well Lady Ulta, come. Let's get you something to eat." "Well?" He chuckled. "My apologies, you were excellent, My Lady." Markus led her back into the palace as the guards and trainees headed back into the knight's quarters.
